Stopped to look at the menu. Waiter came over and told us the fresh fish he had. So, we sat down and ordered mussels and clams to start, sea bass and cod for our main course. Starter was only ok. A little bit of garlic and some white wine would have given a better flavour. Half way through starter waiter appeared to say no Sea Bass. My partner was cross but decided on the cod like me. We were served two 9 inch fish with heads on that clearly were not cod. We ate them but told the waiter we knew they were not cod, did he think we were stupid. My friends and I visited this restaurant and were utterly shocked with our experience.We ordered a small lobster to share along with our main dishes. We double checked the price with the waiter before going ahead with our order. (Food also wasn’t the nicest. Overcooked and bland) We went up to pay and he had charged us almost double the amount of what he had said. When we confronted him (very politely ) at the desk, he acted as if he had never seen us before and told us it was our fault we didn’t understand. I was fortunate to eat here several times during my two-week stay in Paxos, and I always ate very well. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. They were also patient with my attempts to order in Greek (or Italian)!

The view of the harbor from the restaurant is gorgeous, and I'd often linger after my meal just watching the boats go by.

The best thing about the restaurant is that they have their own fishing boat, and they typically serve the fish shortly after it has been caught. I had some truly exceptional octopus, calamari, sea bass, and grouper during my stay. I'll miss the restaurant almost as much...
