MARDINIK HOTEL APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

It was our second trip on Crete and in Rethymno. |In this time we chose the Mardinik Apart&Hotel for our vacation. We lived here one month from August to September. |Great location. Very close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Not far from the Old town, just 7-10 minutes. |Near by the hotel you can always leave your car in safety place. I think it's important for a people who will rent a car, because in the city has a problem with parking. |Accomodation. We lived in large apartaments on the first floor with two rooms (kitchen with a big lounge zone (guestroom) and bedroom). |We had everything we needed, and even more. |The fully- equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for cooking. Very good kitchen hoods! |In the courtyard of the hotel there is a barbecue area.|Nice wi-fi! If we compare wi-fi in Mardinik and in Theartemis Palace 4* (where we lived before, in last year) in Mardinik - wi-fi connection better!|Our apartament were cleaned every day and changed towels. And also, hotel were cleaned every day: halls ,floors, stairs, elevator. |Perfect purity! Kind regards for Marianna with her gold hands!|Staff. We travel a lot, but we did not find another place like this!|The owners Maria, Manolis, Licia, Marianna - you all are fantastic people! They helped us with any question and situation, from: airport transfer, baby coat for our child, rent a car, visas, and etc..|Conclusion. The Mardinic it is not a typical hotel, it is a family Hotel with a special  very good and positive atmosphere around...

This hotel was our home for 12 days, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. We stayed in an apartment with a living room and a bedroom, and everything was just perfect. The place is spotless, modern, and looks exactly like in the photos. We had no issues at all during our stay. The apartment was cleaned daily, and everything was arranged with great care.

The location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk to the beach. There are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby, which makes it really convenient. There’s also parking available in the area if you plan to rent a car (although it’s usually full, with a bit of luck you can find a spot – we managed to).

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They always greeted us, asked how we were doing, and offered their help whenever we needed it. Maria, the owner, gave us great tips about places to visit, car rentals, excursions, and even which beach clubs offer sunbeds at good prices. Her whole family is absolutely lovely , always smiling, kind, and full of positive energy.

Our stay was truly wonderful, and we’ve already added this hotel to our “must return” list. We wholeheartedly...

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds, lots of storage space, two balconies, and a large living area.

The kitchen was really well equipped, with utensils, pots, pans etc and you could make a proper meal if you wanted to.

Fantastic location on a quiet street yet only a 2 minute walk from the beachfront and dozens of restaurants, and around a 15 minute walk to the old town.

Maria and her wonderful parents were the most helpful and welcoming hosts - they really made our holiday special, and provided so many restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do. Maria’s mother also made delicious cakes some days, which was a lovely touch!
