Lovely bakery with great products and very tasty. They offer one sugar free dessert and also lactose free products. Lots of variety.

Most staff are very polite and helpful and smiley and ready to help at any time. Lovely ladies.

The reason I rate this 1 star on this review is because of one particular single lady. I don’t know her name but she is the tallest in there and has blonde hair. There are also other tall women with blonde hair but she is the tallest in there I believe.

From the start this woman seemed very serious and grumpy. I purchase the goods and go to pay , I ask if I can pay by card she says “yes” , she reaches with the pda machine , I pay and I ask if I can please have a bag to put the goods in. She doesn’t respond and she reaches below for a bag and tries to open it, she fails it and she throws the bag on the counter and says here u go and leaves quick to go to the next customer.

Customer service is called like that for a reason. If you don’t have the mental capacity to serve in a polite way then don’t . I get it everyone can have a bad day but that includes the customer as well. Why do I have to be super polite with smiles please and thank you as a customer and you as the worker don’t ? We can both have a bad day and still talk polite.

Important to note . I am Greek and I speak Greek. I live in the Uk for the past 12 years and I know what being polite means.

Amazing products , amazing staff except this one tall blonde woman. Shame on you , terrible customer service and very rude. You ruin this bakery’s reputation behaving like that.

The tall skinny blonde lady was training a staff and the new staff and her got rude to me because i never ask for sugarfirst..being a visible minority..I challenged them about customers service and importance of being polite..they tall blonde lady had bad attitude the next time I showed up..she never wanted to.serve me another staff yet served me who barely spoke english..in the mean time i was uploading 5 star social media pictures for their store as their work is impressive and visiting their business everyday or twice a day before the incident some of their staff are Sweet/ gentle/ good customers service.YET the blonde lady she was the one being rude n training staff to be rude. Never understantood their Greek lingual but watched their snear! We come to rethymon twice a year. This bakery is excellent for cakes and the sandwiches are delicious. Well priced. But some of the staff have a really bad attitude. Especially the lady with black hair up in a pony tail. Very uncultured and benighted. Made me feel that she was talking about me and laughing with another staff in greek. Very uncomfortable. One day I went in, got served and walked out the shop. I checked my change and it was 50 cent less. I didn't challenge it as I was out the shop.so I accepted it. Couple of days later we went in again and ordered three things. And it made me check my change at the till. It was 50 cent down again. When I challenged the lady she just said "ho yes sorry" didn't even look at the receipt to check if it was right and gave me 1 euro instead of 50 cent. Which says to me she knew what she was doing as it has happened twice now. We will never go into...
