Ixia Dream — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

We had the great pleasure to be accommodated at this unique hotel and be hosted by exceptional professionals. The truth is that I was trying many days after our departure to summarise what I wanted to share online regarding our recent stay at this hidden gem of Rhodes, as I did not wanted to lose even a single remark. Starting from the ambience of the hotel, I have to underline that it is a recently renovated establishment right in front of a lovely pebble beach with very well designed rooms without excessive and useless touches, that perfectly combines the modernisation with a remarkable simplicity that does needed, in my opinion, in the tourist industry and does make the difference among thousand hotels nearby. We were staying for 6 nights in the Junior Suite and believe me, it was ,surprisingly, from the few times I have to say, were photos did not reflect the exact beauty of this room, as the room was even better! Airy and sunny with direct sea views, spacious private balcony, perfect soundproofing and hand picked amenities that offers you a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. The breakfast, simply amazing! A big, carefully prepared variety with fresh ingredients that meets all the food restrictions and preference of the residents, a buffet fully equipped with a lot of Greek traditional flavours but at the same time, with many basic "American style" selections (sausage, bacon, beans, fried eggs) so as to start your day with the most tasty way! As far as the cleanliness of both our room and the communal areas, superb in all of its aspect! However, what made our stay just incomparable besides all the aforementioned details, was the staff and the way that made us applause the greatness of Greek hospitality. I have visited many hotels in Greece, and plenty of hotels in different countries, but honestly the way the staff members and especially the owner of the hotel, Nikos, treated us, I will never, ever forget it! From the very first time I met this gentleman, I realised that he created this hotel with so much love, attention and passion to offer his guests nothing less than an unforgettable accommodation experience and he has unquestionably achieved it! He was present all day to ensure with his own eyes that his guests are having a great time and he and the whole team was 24/7 available and delighted to assist us with all of our requests. He was tireless and always there for us without second thoughts, his experience in the "out of the ordinary" customer service could not be hidden! And this is what must describe Greek Hospitality. The honest, pure and selfless attention that is so much far away from the most ultra-luxurious and recognized hotels around the world that have nothing to say to you because are all the same and offers the same bureaucratic and cold-blooded customer service. But this hotel and the people working on this hotel it's not the same, and does make a huge difference! Therefore, if you wish to experience the epitome of a generous and gracious hospitality surrounding by a brand new and promising hotel, don't look any further.

Niko, Evi, Niki, Marie and all the staff of Ixia Dream, we have no words to thank you for this phenomenal experience you offered us. We could not have ask for more, you exceeded our expectations, you went above and beyond and you have wholeheartedly stolen our hearts! We promise we will be back and this is the reason why, at this point, we don't say goodbye.

Just back from our second stay at the beautiful Ixia Dream and it was just as fabulous as our first visit last year. This year we had a beautiful deluxe sea view room and it did not disappoint, being on the top floor gave us some beautiful sunrise and sunset views while enjoying a morning coffee or evening drink. The room was a great size, spotlessly clean and a large comfy bed. The pool is a lovely size and never feels overcrowded, there are plenty of sunbeds available. The pool/pool bar area has a lovely relaxing atmosphere where you can just lie back relax dipping in and out of the pool as you choose. The beach is accessed through a short stroll through the impeccably kept garden. On the beach you will find more very comfortable sunbeds for the sole use of guests.|Breakfast offers a wide selection that caters for everyone's tastes. All the food is fresh, regularly replenished and is excellent quality.|The pool bar opens at 11am to serve a wide selection of drinks and from 12 noon food is available to order which can be eaten by the pool or in the on site restaurant. Again the food is exceptional quality and is delicious. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal. The prices for drinks and food is very reasonable.|All the above couldn't happen without Nikos (hotel owner) and his team of amazing staff. Every single one of them goes above and beyond. Nothing ever feels too much trouble for them.|You can literally just spend your whole holiday at the hotel if that is your thing but if you do like exploring you can hire a car from reception to go exploring or they can book you a site seeing trip with the coach picking you up from outside the hotel. We did a mixture of lazy days by the pool, hired a car for one day to go exploring and went on a day trip to Symi Island which included a swim stop.|If it wasn't for this hotel and the amazing staff we possibly wouldn't return to Rhodes for a 3rd time in 3 years but we will definitely be back to stay again next year.|If you are looking for a top class, relaxing, adult only holiday then this is the hotel for you.|Thank you all for another exceptional stay and...

Ixia Dream, Please don’t wake me up 😊 The service, the location, wow, perfection! This beautiful small hotel has it all, right on the ocean, a beautiful private beach, perfect for soaking the Greek summer sun. 🌞 The hotel is less than a minute walk to shops and a mini market, strategically located for easy access to all that Rhodes have to offer. We rented a car and parked at the hotels free parking. The hotel is adults only, quiet, private, friendly and peaceful. For food, I recommend the hotel restaurant, good food, and well priced. You will understand very fast that this hotel doesn’t over charge for anything, they are really all about giving you the best experience; and we had just that. The pool is perfect in size and was great to find it doesn’t have any towels issues like many other hotels. We loved spending time around the pool when we just wanted a chilled day, great music and a bar that offers great drinks and food. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had the suite and it was one of the largest we have ever had. Needless to say you have full sea view, a great reminder of this heaven you are in. 🏖️ 🌞 🇬🇷 Breakfast has all you need, tasty and with some surprises everyday, they care and it shows; but the most special thing about Ixia Dream, is 🥁 🥁 Their service!!! Second to none!!! Every hotel should learn what service means and apply. Staff, were friendly, kind, helpful and are there to make sure you enjoy yourself. How can they not when the hotel owner Nikos is there everyday to show them how he does it. He is amazing; try him. If you need anything, he will move mountains (or chairs) to make it happen. We had lots of dietary restrictions and Nikos was so accommodating, it was actually touching, he even allowed us to pick vegetables for our breakfast from the hotels veggie garden.
