This is a budget hotel. It is very dated and in need of some investment.||The rooms were very basic. Cooking facilities consisted of 2 small electric hobs so not really very suitable to make many meals.||The rooms were clean. The cleaner visited 6 days out of 7. All towels and bedsheets were replaced each time.||There was a mini mart shop on the first floor of the hotel. The shelves were fairly bare with hardly any stock. This is a shame and a real missed opportunity for the hotel.||A supermarket is, however, situated around 5 mins away. ||One irritating feature was that the hotel only had 1 bank card reader shared between the bar, restuarant and reception. Every time you order a drink at the bar the staff then have to wander off to find the machine so you can pay. ||The hotel restaurant was very good. Around 8 Euros will pay for a good evening meal. On the menu were both Greek and international food. Portion sizes were very generous. Food was very tasty and good quality. ||There is little in the immediate area of the hotel. The ancient Olympic stadium and Acropolis are around a 15 min walk away. The Old Town is about 30 mins. In the heat this is a long way, especially the way back which is mostly up hill. Taxis to the Old Town cost around 8 Euros and worth every penny. ||We found staff at the hotel to be friendly and helpful.||Overall this hotel was better than expected. It is a budget hotel and if you go with an open mind it isn't that bad. Having read so of the reviews before we went I was very concerned. Through out the week it began to grow on me. In the end we had a very enjoyable holiday...
Read moreI usually balance any negative issues with positive & find it difficult to do in this instance. Jet 2 states comfortable & well equipped, we didn't find that.||Pool area nice yet pool very dirty, with loose tiles, bar area ok if little expensive, day staff very welcoming, thanks Assif for lovely customer service & not making it all about the £ which we personally felt other staff did. On arrival a couple were charged 18eu for a bottle wine, when questioned it next day were told that amount wasn't on the menu!||Needs a lot of tlc_ told by reception to take cans to snack bar to be opened until we went & purchased can opener.||Paid for 1 bed apartment, got large 2 bed apartment with a lot of issues from shower not working, health & safety issues, leaking pipes, loose paving stones to basic facilities. Lady on reception on a morning very helpful & a great tour guide.||Outside of Rhodes town, approx half hr walk which isn't great, through a dirty & dark part of town, I'll lit on an evening, a lot of expense spent on taxis.||Very quiet which can be a bonus if you are looking for this, guests when around were friendly. ||Food_ snacks were very good from...
Read moreThis hotel was absolutely terrible. It does not deserve 3 stars and it is was definitely not like the pictures online. First of all, the hotel had extreme mold in all of its rooms and reception. Amenities such as the blow drier were broken. The hotel looked abandoned and was poorly maintained and the outside of the hotel was run down (pool was not working). Even though the price to stay for one night was low, the hotel should have been at least clean and maintained by the staff. The hotel was also far from the centre so we needed to take a taxi to travel to the centre. Not only that, but the bed sheets were not cleaned and the whole family developed skin breakouts on arms and legs. We also visited a dermatologist who confirmed that it was the bed sheets. The taxi driver who took us from the hotel told us that the hotel was once a proper 3 star hotel but due to management issues it was not properly managed and they abandoned it. Even though we stayed for one night because other proper hotels were fully booked, it definitely destroyed our holidays and our mood. This hotel should be closed down. I definitely do not...
