We are a family with a 4 year old son. We went to Pegasos at the end of August beginning of September for 7 nights, all inclusive. We had a lovely time there. The reason why we gave only 4 stars instead of 5 are as follows:|- the furniture in the room we stayed, 133, showed a lot of wearing signs. They looked old;|- the main restaurant, buffet area, seemed for us too small compared to the size of the hotel and to the number of guests. From previous experiences, similar sized hotels had two or three times bigger buffet areas;|- the food choice at breakfast wasn't very diverse, not much of a choice;|- lobby / welcoming area didn't seemed to suggest that you are in a 5 star hotel, it wasn't suggesting the "wow" sensation.||Other than the above, everything was extremely nice:|- stuff: very nice, friendly, helpful from receptionist to entertaining, bar, waiters, cleaners. Lovely and helpful people every single one.|- entertainment: every evening something else. |- mini disco for kids: lovely entertainers;|- room: the positive - its location was great. It wasn't in the sun all day so in the evening the temperature was perfect to sleep without air conditioning. The room was a partial sea view with land view. Usually we like sea view, but from the last 2 experiences we decided to give up on the sea view because our little one couldn't sleep well due to the evening entertainment noises that usually are stretching into the early morning hours. Giving up the sea view for piece and silence was a great choice, it was nice and quiet, we could all had good rest each evening and night.|- main restaurant: as mentioned above, not much choice for breakfast. The lunch was great. You didn't had too much choice at lunch either, BUT each day there was something different and whatever that was, it was DELICIOUS. Dinner wasn't very diversified either but is was better than the breakfast.|- pizza place: delicious pizzas;|- pancake place: delicious as well;|- gyros place: delicious as well;|- a-la-carte restaurant: delicious food. We took our son too because we didn't had the option to leave him with some. The only down side or negative review it would be that it takes more than 1 and 1/2 hours to go through the dinner process. That is way too long for a 4 year old. We had to play him cartoons on the phone, which we are not big fans to let him spend time in front of screen. It would be helpful, we think, if the management would provide some coloring books for the little ones to keep them busy for such a long time. This is not a critique, just constructive feedback. Lovely staff.|- pool bar: lovely bartenders;-|- kids water slides: BIG positive that the water was always running from opening hours to closing hours (10am - 6pm, I think). From previous experience at other hotels the water used to run between certain intervals a few times during the daytime. Here it was on all day long, amazing.|- pools / water: all the pools and kids pool were clean;|- beach: nice sandy beach. Clean beach.|- restrooms: clean and tidy.|- the sea: the water was incredibly clear. We did snorkeling and we were so surprised how many fishes are swimming between the swimmers. There are lots of fishes around the coral area, especially to the right (towards Faliraki) from the sea handrail.|- drinks: local beer available all day. Vine (whites, rose, red) also available all day. Coffee, cocktails (alcoholic a nd non-alcoholic) all day.|- drinking water: there are tap water cooling machines on the site. The most commonly used is the one located at the pool bar.|- cash / currency exchange: it is not available at the hotel. We used an ATH machine located on the side of the road, north of the hotel, between Blue Sea Beach Rest and Epsilon Shopping Centre. The machine will charge a transaction fee. ||The hotel, the garden, bathrooms, beach were very clean. The staff was always on the lookout to clean up untidy areas a.s.a.p.||When we arrived to the hotel on the first day and entered the lobby than went up to our room, we were slightly disappointed, it didn't gave the "wow" sensation. But as we went into the "garden" our opinion changed, especially if you see a sunset or the evening lights, it's great.||The hotel it is very close to the airport, 15 - 20 minutes taxi ride. We didn't had anything pre-booked. We just arrived to the airport, went out and jumped in the first taxi. On departure day, when you're ready to leave, just go to the reception and ask them to call you a taxi. For us it arrived in 2 - 3 minutes.||All together we had a lovely time. We would return with pleasure in the future.|Thank you Pegasos for hosting us, serving us and...
Read moreWe stayed at the Pegasos Deluxe on the outskirts of Faliraki from 18th-25th October. We travelled with easyJet and booked a superior double with sea view (this was ÂŁ150 more than the standard room on offer). First impressions on arrival were very good, a lovely hotel from outside and the reception is very well presented. We arrived around 9pm and were taken to our room quickly and made it down to the restaurant in time for our evening meal. The next morning we realised our sea view wasnât quite what weâd expected or paid for, it was predominantly mountains and other hotels. The room was also very small for 2 adults and a child, although it was recently renovated to a very nice standard, it just wasnât practical for us. We raised our issue with reception and they got us into the room we had booked with no issues whatsoever. The new room had the stunning views of the sea and pool area we had expected and more space. ||The whole hotel is immaculate, clearly having been renovated in recent years. The cleaners work constantly to keep it in great shape, the staff are impeccably professional, courteous and kind, I was blown away by how nice everyone was. ||The pool area is stunning, it is very large with 4 decent sized infinity pools and a childrenâs splash park. Considering it was half term holidays, the sun beds were plentiful and good quality, you get pool towels provided which can be changed every 3 days, these towels fit the sun beds perfectly. The beach also has free sun beds for hotel guests to use. ||The buffet restaurant offers an excellent selection of food for all tastes, with theme nights throughout the week, I personally couldnât fault the food here, very good AI food and a special mention to âBabis?â I think was his name? such a lovely man, always smiling and making a fuss of our daughter. We only used the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, opting to use the snack bars at lunch. âMeat the Greekâ was my personal favourite for lunch for Pita Gyros which were great, the wood fired pizzas were also really nice. My daughter lovely the delicious crepes and the lady who served them was very nice too. ||There are animation activities throughout the day around the pool areas, although we didnât get involved. The evening entertainment is actually very good for a hotel and we really enjoyed it, there is a mini disco for kids first and then an act of some description afterwards, all of whom were thoroughly enjoyable, my personal favourite was on the last night there was a James Brown tribute who was hilarious. ||The bar staff work their socks off especially Michalis who is a fantastic guy, a real asset to the hotel, the drinks on offer are the usual AI set up with branded drinks being extra but we didnât feel the need to buy any drinks, the lager tasted good and the spirits were very good measures and not watered down at all. ||The hotel is around a 25-30 walk into Faliraki itself so if you have walking difficulties itâs worth getting a taxi for âŹ10. We went to Rhodes town on the bus for âŹ2.50, the bus stop is outside the hotel and they are usually every 20 mins. We caught a taxi back from Rhodes town for âŹ20. The airport transfer takes around 35-50 mins depending on route. ||Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay at a beautiful hotel, and special thanks to Dimitris on reception for helping us have a late check out room. I would definitely return to this hotel...
Read moreJust arrived here, May/June 2023, getting used to know where things are, and what is included in the all inclusiveđđ
Although I written some positive comments about this Hotel below, we have found that the outside bar terrace area is extremely noisy!đĄ Since day one of being here, it has been the same! The Hotel doesn't seem to have control of what goes on during and after the entertainment finishes! Even the animation people have their speakers so loud!!
So many nights of lost sleep and upset now, due to people carrying on their own parties, with shouting, screaming and loud music playing!đĄ We have complained, but the Hotels thoughts seem to be with this small group of guests! By allowing them to continue being extremely loud and playing their own music! They must be upsetting hundreds of people that have rooms facing out to this area. This is not a relaxing holiday, when you cannot get a good night's sleep.
I think the Hotel should voice their rules and protect the majority of other guests who are upset by this carrying on till 3 or 4am in the morning!!đĄđĄ Really not happy, and its starting to ruin our holiday!
We then sleep in, then are late for breakfast because we are that tired. Then the breakfast area is jam packed with guests, and now, really not enjoyable. Each night we are now becoming anxious, as to what time we will be able to sleep????
Not happy about this aspect of the Hotel!
The restaurant areas are very well presented. The food selection on offer is amazing! Lots of choice in all sections, breakfast, lunch time and evening meal. They even make their own fresh pizzas here by two great friendly guysđđ We are well impressed with thisđ
Plenty of drink stations, varieties tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, beer and wines on draughtđđ Friendly and helpful staff make a lovely atmosphere here, this must be the Greek hospitalityđ
The main Pool is looking good. We tried the pool today, I like to swim lengths for my cardio. It is quite a long pool, which is great for testing your staminađreally enjoyed it and water quality was extremely good. There is a small children's pool next to the main pool. There is also another pool on the grassed area, which has a water slide into it. Children and adults were having lots of fun there. We found it better to have a sun bed here, as it was overwhelming from the animation staff with loud music and pestering to do their activities. We came on holiday to relax. We could here the music from over the other side by the other pool, which was fine.
The surrounding areas of the complex are very well presentedđ
Outside bar and multiple terraces. Pathways to the beach and free sunbeds there, as its still the hotel complexđ we really liked this aspect. An outside pizza oven, where the two great friendly guys called Kosta, makes fresh pizzas for everyone, you just help yourself to two slicesđđ They both work very hard, and have to stand by the oven heat all the time𼾠Best pizzas I have ever tasted! Well done to himđđ
There is a Pancake section and light snacks, icecreams at another section provided during the day.
All free on All exclusive, we are so pleased that we had this service from Pegasus Deluxe Beach Hotel, but not all the very latest night noise...
