Margarita’s rooms have a gorgeous view on Prophet Ilias Mountain and the Sifnean countryside that is even more beautiful than on the photos! It’s only an easy 7 minutes downhill walk to the busiest street in town with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, and a 3 minutes walk to a supermarket. Margarita (and Lavros, her lovely Greek to English translator) are caring and talented hosts. There is a possibility for the room to be cleaned spotless everyday. Let me start by saying Margarita is one of the most hospitable people we have met while traveling around different countries.

We were welcomed by homemade sweets and had a special treat on our last day!

The place has basic amenities, mini fridge, kettle, it is well-kept and clean. The views are just so beautiful, walking distance to bus stop to Kastro and Faros, close to Steno, grocery stores and some restaurants 😍

I cannot say enough nice things about Margarita! She took us in (we had booked elsewhere and it turned out horrible) and she got everything ready for us and gave us lemonade while we waited! The next day, she even made us a cake which was wonderful! The house was immaculately cleaned. Everything seemed new and fresh. Towels, lovely toiletries and just everything we could need.
