4Elies — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

It was our fourth stay at Pension 4Eliese after 2018/19/20/22. In the new review one must distinguish between primary and secondary factors. First of all, the primary factors. After all the years before that, we had apartment 4 for the first time, this used to be the apartment of the mother of the family. The apartment was clean and very well renovated because we knew the apartment from having eaten with our mother. Unfortunately, the apartment has a few problems with its internal layout. All the bathrooms are too small, so tall or strong people have to struggle to use the toilets, banging everywhere. The downstairs bathroom is just too dark. In the upper bathroom, users taller than 165 cm hit their heads. The upper bed is not spatially separated from the apartment. The lower bedroom is directly adjacent to the terrace of the landlord / apartment / neighbors. Both beds are only max-140cm wide, which is too narrow for two adults and should not be advertised as a double bed. So every night was torture. The lower bed/bedroom is right next to the neighbors' terrace. It was therefore always loud and in our case the noisy users of the neighboring landlord couldn't bear it. The kitchen was very well equipped. Unfortunately there were no international channels on the TV. We can only warn all users against renting apartment 4. We can recommend all other apartments below ground level. Secondary factors, Vourvourou has become noisy now, next to 4Elise there is now a beach bar from which loud basses pound all day long and this hits the upper apartments in particular. The present brother of the landlord was not able to get the noise/peace disturbance of the neighboring apartment under control, so that we were wide awake even at midnight by the loud yelling of the neighboring tenants. On the contrary, he let it be known that only we would cause stress, we don't accept that. It was therefore unavoidable that our stay, including financial compensation, had to be broken off. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This beach house is a true hidden gem. Just one minute from a private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas, it offers peace and quiet with very few people around — never crowded.

Within a short 5–10 minute walk, you’ll find excellent restaurants. The sea itself is very clear even though it's sandy, it's shallow for about 50 meters (perfect for relaxing), and then gets deeper if you want a proper swim. From the water, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Athos, the green mountains, and nearby islands.

The scenery is simply stunning, and at night you can leave the window open listening to the sound of the waves - I just had the best sleep in years!

PS: You can grill here, enjoy lots of seating areas, terrace, daily room cleaning, every 3 days clean bedsheets and towels.

Worth every penny! Would...

We lived in apt#7, ground floor with sea view. I think it was great choice, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is what you need for comfortable vacation with children. The beach is just a few steps from the house, garden is very nice and private. The location is excellent, in quiet street and in walking distance to market/restaurants. Boat rental in 50 meters. Both the house and garden is well equiped and clean. The rooms, garden and beach is cleaned every day, towels and bed-linen changed every 3 days, so we even didn't have to use washing machine. The owners are available 24/7 and ready help with anything. I hope sometimes we will meet...
