Greek House Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

Situated on the excellent position in Neos, just near the beach, which is, btw, very nice for a city beach. So, you don't have to go up and down to get to the seaside, which is a usual for Neos Marmaras. Apatments on the east side facing the sea are nice, they are a little bit crowded with traditional, antique-like furniture, just one of the rooms has air conditon unit. Other room has only a ventilator, which could be annoying during the warmest months, if the are more than two guests in the app. A big minus is that there is not a proper kichenette, only a fridge and a small boilery, without any plates, frying pan, casserole, cutlery, or portable stove. There is a restaurant in the house, held by same owners, but it is not a way to stimulate guests to use it three time a day. Also, preasure of water in the bathroom is very weak, battery on the shower doesn't work properly. However, the place is clean, with regular canfing of towels...

We booked a room with balcony and with city view. ||They gave us a room at the back side of the hotel on the GROUND FLOOR in front of the street and the parked cars. ||The so called "balcony" in ON the road with no pavement!||Of course there is NO city view!!! We see people walking and parked cars in front of us!||We complained to the owner and she said that only the 4-person rooms have sea view and they are all booked.||They offered us, as a compensation, a free meal. We refused to have it. We consider it is a cheap fare to the downgrading of our holidays.||These people ruined our vacation for us. We stayed there 2 nights at the end of our stay in Sithonia. We didn't book in advance. We had searched on tripadvisor and we knew that this hotel had at least one room available and the price was fair. So we went there but it took quite a time to the manager to be available to see us at the reception. We then asked for a room, she gave it to us but she wanted to charge us more than what we had seen on tripadvisor. I had taken a screenshot of the offer on tripadvisor and when we showed it to her, she immediately accepted to give us that same price. So that was very nice of her.||||THe room itself was big, very clean (same with the bathroom). Everything was perfect. THe hotel is not located in the heart of the city but it's a short 5 minutes walk. Plus, we were closer to the beach.
