After a long search for a place to eat, we finally decided to sit down and have lunch there. We ordered two homemade lemonades, but they tasted just like ordinary juice. The pizza looked as if it had been fried in oily butter pastry. To make matters worse, we even found hair in the salad—and that was the last straw for us. We decided to call the manager and explain that we were not satisfied with the food being served. What was really surprising was his explanation about the pizza. He told us that the pizza they serve is a “typical Greek pizza,” made with Philadelphia cheese, and that’s why it looks and tastes the way it does. The pizza was extremely salty, and he insisted it was because of the Philadelphia, which was strange since there was clearly none in the pizza. To top it all off, he advised us to check the internet reviews about his restaurant. That was almost comical, because based on what we had just experienced, the food was far from good. We definitely do not recommend...
Read moreOur experience started with what felt like half the food on the menu either not being available or taking a very long time to be made so the waitress recommended us against those dishes. While having those issues going on we got rushed to make our decision and barely had any time to really think about what we really wanted to order without the waitress complaining.
The food itself was good, nothing amazing but definitely not bad but certainly a bit overpriced (probably because of it being in a very touristy area).
Unfortunately after asking to get our leftovers packed for later we were left sitting there for a long while again by the waitress until we managed to ask another employee who reluctantly went and packed it for us. Of course receiving the bill took its time again as well. The entire staff just did not seem to be on top of the situation and without any kind of motivation during this evening, I will certainly not be...
Read moreThe worse pizza experience in Neos Marmaras. Reccomend to avoid, there are many better options around. We ordered a greek pizza that supposed to have no meat, but we found in chicken breast pieces. The order arrived in 7-8 minutes and after we told the staff about pieces of meat in a vegetarian pizza recipe, the next one came in around 30 minutes. Also there is a quite amount of chaos between the staff members, the task are not clearly for everyone. We had half of pizza (4 slices) left and asked politely to have it for take away and they put only 3 slices in a plastic bag, even if they had cardboard pizza boxes. For sure the people who want to eat pizza can find far better options in a 250 meters...
