Ταβέρνα Χρήστου Καρανάσου — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

Great atmosphere, plenty of seats right next to the sea. The food was tasty and fairly priced. Certain sea food options on the menu were frozen, but they were priced accordingly. We had the grilled octopus and fried squid and they were good considering they were frozen. The Greek salad was big and I can also recommend the tzatziki. They also served us with bread, not sure if it was complimentary or not but it was fresh. The staff was very friendly. We only had a problem with paying, the POS terminal was apparently having connection issues so we had to fork the cash, which luckily we had enough of, but on another day may not have been the case. Can't say whether this is a cash-prefered restaurant since we've only been here once. All in all, would come back again,...

The best special place in Sithonia. We went here 3 times in a week: every time, something amazing.

We (I, my son, my partner) tasted here the very best fresh fish we ordered in the last 3 holidays in Greece (Crete + Rhodos + Sithonia).

Really amazing all the fish: grilled squid and grilled octopus, simply fantastic and absolutely the best we ever tried. Grilled sardinas and fried anchovias/squid, really delicious. Personally, I chose to don't come back home in Italy without trying their Moussaka too... The perfect choice at the end of our holidays.

I had my reservations about the food and the place, however I was pleasantly surprised

Whole family ate very well and they absolutely loved every bite including the kids.

Pointers to the owner:

English menus should be at the forefront we had a little bit of a hard time finding the menu definitions, however this is me just being picky, it doesn't change the restaurant quality or the service it was great regardless!

Also you might want to list on the menu the sides a dish comes with or if it doesn't come with anything, I would have changed what I choosen slightly in order to try more of the menu!
