This restaurant has amazing food & very friendly staff. Try the stuffed calamari. It’s exquisite.
About the rooms: They look exactly as advertised on their website. The rooms are clean, airy, and equipped with air conditioning, fridge, hairdryer, clothes rack on the balcony for drying your swimsuits.
The large balcony doors have insect nets and blinds to keep the sun out.
The bed is big and comfortable.
In the bathroom the water-pressure is always good, there is always hot water available & towels are replaced when needed. The tap water is clean and drinkable.
The overall feel is great, the hosts are accommodating to requests and very nice.
Although there is a restaurant downstairs, the place is not noisy, there is no loud music, you can take your siesta without being bothered.
The only draw-back is, the doors to the rooms have a small gap under them, and if you are unlucky to have noisy guests in the next room, you can hear everything. During our stay there were some guests in the next room that used to slam doors, shout and make odd noises during the night, and no matter how thick walls are, some people can be noisier.
Also the place is pet & child-friendly, so expect families with small children and dogs.
For the animal lovers, there are so many cats around. They sometimes come to visit on...
Read moreLocation - 5 stars. The place is right next to the sea, with beautiful direct view of the "Turtle island", which is very near. Venue - 5 stars. The restaurant is beautiful, outside and inside, with modern twist on traditional Greek architecture. Very nice place to be in. Food - 3 stars. Very dissapointing, if you take into account how the place looks. I ordered lamb chops, french fries and eggplant dip. Lamb chops were very thinly sliced, in order to appear there is more food on the plate, while the french fries were cold. It looks like they prepare a lot of food in advance to keep up with the demand. Unfortunately for the guests, quality of the food is suffering due to that fact. Pricing - 3 stars. The prices are on the average to higher for this region, but due to the fact that the quality of food was not up to the standard, I don't think they are worth the money. Conclusion: The place looks much better than the food they serve. Right on the left from "Blue Maris" is a place named "Beis", and although the venue is much older and lacks interior beauty, the food is much better, and the...

We stayed for 1 week. George and the other staff were very friendly and accommodating towards us.
The location is very close to the beach, so you can easily go to the beach from it. Parking is available right near the location in the lot to the right of the building. So, there is no worry to leave your car there.
The room was very clean with a comfy bed :). It has a balcony where you can enjoy your mornings with either a cup of coffee or breakfast if you want. The room has air conditioning to cool off when it gets to hot. You also have a refrigerator and TV if needed.
Bathroom was very clean, you have a large shower and 2 sinks. One in the bathroom and the other in the room if needed.
Wi-Fi signal is good and the transfer speeds are good as well.
The food was great and delicious! All the options on the menu are a must try, especially the squid or octopus. Very delicious!
It was a pleasure...
