Haus Roula — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

We stayed at Haus Roula during August 2018. First of all no great view from the apartments and no beach near except outside Marmaras. Rooms are very small and ours smelled bad because of the drainage system. So the "cleaning" lady left the balcony door open all day long and we returned to find our room more like a hot oven. The room was not clean, bed sheets and towels were old and the mattress was soft as .... a rock. Roula starts shouting and laughing from early morning so forget about a quiet place to stay as if you can hear everything from the other rooms or the road and the stores. There is no breakfast but there is something that looks like a kitchen inside the room. Good luck cooking there! Also the small refrigerator is super noisy!!! We stayed at Haus Roula mid July 2017. It was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We are planning on returning next summer.|Location: |Centrally located in Neo Marmara right next to parking, restaurants, cafes, etc. Everything is within a few steps. Everyday we drove to different beaches, all within a few minutes. Places such as Lagomandra, Kalogria, Agios Giannis, and Porto Carras. Too hot in the rooms on the second floor. A/C is on purpose set only to work on one speed (the lowest) because of saving electric energy from the host. Complete foolishness and very poor from them! 👎 Only good in that apartment is beautiful view on the see and location in downtown.
