ITAMOS HOUSE — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

Itamos House - An excellent host, advantageous location and excellent value for money. Arriving in Halkidiki with my wife and another couple, we spent 4 days in this beautiful villa that offers you almost everything you want. Both rooms were clean, with a balcony, kitchenette and generally everything you need (fridge, AC, internet, etc.). The location is well located, in 3 minutes we could be at the local beach, but you can try some other great beaches in the area, just a few minutes by car - ask Sakis and he will guide you. There is no longer the dining facility that I suspect they had in the past (I saw it in the pictures) but just across the road is a tavern, where you can eat very well, at reasonable prices and with an excellent view directly on the beach. So you just have to cross the road. :) Speaking of location, if you need something, there is a supermarket about 200 meters away. By the way, the villa has a more than generous parking lot in the backyard, and there you can also find a kind of covered terrace with tables and everything you need for a barbecue. I don't have enough words to describe how kind and sweet the owners of this place are, especially the grandma :) they'll help you regardless of what you ask, with a smile on their faces all the time. The guest house was very very clean and so was the room. I was impressed to see how in the kitchen we found detergent and a sponge ( since many boarding houses don't offer you that), plenty of cutlery, dishes etc. Basically, nothing was missing and they gave us everything already. Again, it was impressively clean, the balcony we had had an excellent view and it was really quiet. The TV works great and so does the AC. Clean sheets and towels. In one word: perfection. I'd definitely recommend this place to others and if I'll get the chance to come in Halkidi again, the Itamos house would be my choice...

Feally good position, between 2 good restaurants and next to boat rentals. The room is not big, but it has anything you need. The balcony (mountain view) is huge. If you want to see the sea, you can from one of the corners. In the back of the house there is a barbeque that you can use, and some tables. Nobody has bother us during our stay.
