Bay View Apts II — Hotel in Municipality of Sitia

We knew the owners of these rooms from our stay in 1999 and 2001 but were dismayed to see the review from Victoria. I emailed Kostas to enquire and he said the rooms were clean and today. Having known him to be an honest individual, we took the chance.||And were glad we did. The rooms were all clean and tidy, if a little dated. They had been recently decorated and were all we required. Each room contains a TV (which we didn't use), a fridge,beds, bathroom and shower. AC units were installed in the rooms, but we couldn't get them to work. The temperatures didn't require the use of the AC units, but we did have the use of a fan. I preferred to open all the windows at night and let the wind circulate the room. Each rooms leads onto a very pleasant terrace and plants were irrigated with a system which was clearly working as damp soil was evident. ||There is possibly a little updating that could happen here, but the owners couldn't do enough to help us and we very much enjoyed our stay.||If you want a place to stay, which is close to two outstanding beach areas and running...

It looks like this place used to be a little paradise but it has been completely abandonned! The room we had was tiny with only A/C and a small fridge in it. WiFi was dead, no other equipment in it and everything was very noisy. It was impossible to sleep because everything was cracking and banging with the wind during the night. Very disappointing to see the surrounding garden and trees completely abandonned and most of them dead... Sure this used to be a great place but...

σχόλιο δυσφήμισης και όχι διαφήμισης...μέσω της πλατφόρμας του κοινωνικού τουρισμού έκλεισα 6 διανυκτερεύσεις σε "αυτό" το υποτιθέμενο κατάλυμα, διαβάζοντας τις κριτικές είδα ότι είναι ένας πολύ φιλόξενος, καθαρός χώρος για οικογένειες με παιδιά...το τονίζω αυτό....ΜΕ ΠΑΙΔΙΆ... ΞΕΚΙΝΆΕΙ Ο ΓΟΛΓΟΘΑΣ: φτάνουμε στο #bay_view_apartments_sitia στη περιοχή του Πετρα στη Σητεία..1ον:δεν είχε ασανσέρ,2ον: ανεβήκαμε σχεδόν σε 3ο με 4ο όροφο με σκαλοπάτια συνολικά 67 σκαλιά...με βαλίτσες ,με παιδιά...για να μην αναφερθώ στο θέμα αν είχα καρότσι, ή αν είχα μωρό πώς θα ήταν...ούτε ράμπες ΑΜΕΑ, ούτε τίποτα... απαγορευτικό για αυτούς τους ανθρώπους και για οικογένειες με μωρά...3ον :πολλά σημεία ακάλυπτα εκτεθειμένα για άμεσο κίνδυνο μικρών παιδιών,ακολουθούν και φωτογραφίες εννοείται...είναι κρίμα, γιατί δεν είμαστε τουρίστες, ερχόμαστε κάθε χρόνο,και δυστυχώς δεν μπορώ να πω πως συμπεριφέρθηκαν σαν να θέλουν να ξανά έρθουμε... δεν αρκεί μόνο να είναι ο χώρος καθαρός, χρειάζονται και κάποια άλλα πραγματα για να μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει κόσμο...πρεπει κάποιος αρμόδιος θεωρώ να ελέγξει άμεσα αυτό το κατάλυμα για τη σωστή λειτουργία του... πέραν της θεάς,που η Σητεία είναι μοναδική,πέραν της καθαριότητας του δωματίου που η κυρία ήταν άψογη,δεν έχω να πω τίποτα περισσότερο...η ασφάλεια είναι πιο...
