Fantastic value for your money! I have stayed at the premises with my husband and our 3 children, 12yrs, 9yrs and 4yrs. This was by far our best holiday ever! (and we do travel a lot) It has all the simplicity and character that you would expect from a Cretan home away from home on the beach, with its rustic aspect on one hand, while on the other hand it has everything you could expect from a luxury holiday with its many taverns around, and the attached resorts around the premises which you can take full advantage of. The beach is only a few minutes away and it is stunning! And the view from the terrace is breathtaking. Emma was a great host and communicator. She accommodated all our needs for cots and feather free pillows... And we really appreciate her honest listing of this property. WOW!

We loved this place as soon as we had our first look at it. This place is magnificent in so many ways. We could have easily been here for a week and had our best time. But this time we are driving around and are staying at five different places in Crete.

This house has a wonderful feeling and it is a 300 years old house. The backyard is so cozy and sweet. But if I owned the house I would buy a new hammock and tree chairs, because they weren't so comfortable. The hammock was hard to get into and was broken in some places. But we didn't care much, because of the view and the feeling of the place.

You go down to the beach by using stairs and the beach is perfect for children. My son loved the beach and the sand.

The sunset here was magical!

Now when I write this review we are in the heart of Crete, next to mountains. It is also beautiful and charming. But we could easily stayed here for many more...

We've spent at Emma's place 11 wonderful days with our two kids (2,5 and 0,5 years). We 've been "living" mostly in the garden, which is beautiful, during the day there's always some shadow. We've barbecued almost every evening, the eating corner outside is also very comfy. The garden is not vast, but full of cozy corners tempting to relax... The appartment is furnished simply but tastefully, for families with toddlers we recommend to remove all the fragile decorations. You will find there everything you could need. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge with a freezer, washing machine. There is wifi available, but the connection wasn't perfect during our stay. There are two beaches nearby, sandy, with clear water (ca 1-2 min walk). We didn't meet Emma in Mesodokia, but she was asking about our comfort and was available via internet...
