ΑΛΛΙΩΤΙΚΟ - ALLIOTIKO RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Municipality of Sitia

We came to this restaurant on our first night during our vacation and decided to go back again for our last night dinner because it was the best restaurant during our entire stay in this area. I compared Moussaka in different restaurants and this one had the best. Just superb moussaka. Everyone visiting must try their moussaka because once you have that taste, you won’t tolerate other restaurant’s moussaka anymore. I’d love to get their recipe and try it at home! Also, other dishes such as lamb in tomato sauce, beef in tomato sauce, and Greek salad were amazing. The lady working there is super friendly and nice. Could she be one of the owner? And very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant to all visitors...

This traditional taverna is off the beaten track and this makes it so good. The food was delicious and came in big portions! We went on the weekend and they had the local speciality of roast lamb (antikristo)- it was delicious!! We also tried mousaka and prawn spaghetti and they were excellent. It's a bit further out of the touristy places, but totally worth it to enjoy some traditional cuisine at reasonable prices. Thumbs up for the service!...

I love the atmosphere and the food. All was perfect, until we had to pay sorry our machine don't work. So I walked 10 min. To a atm. And 10 back. Paid my bill, and lost 40 euros in getting money from atm. Was slightly upset, nobody understand, because was not there problem credit card machine doesn't work. But please try to be professional and tell people before, sorry we only take cask and hand written bills. Food...
