If you spot me consuming aperol like it’s water, please remember it costs zero to focus on yourself. 🍹 ⠀⠀───────────────── 📍 @domes_resorts - Domes Miramare If you’re looking for a luxurious break from the UK without the jet lag, you can’t really go wrong with Corfu. It’s only 2hr45 mins from London and the island is just drenched in Mamma Mia vibes. We stayed at @domesmiramare which has to be one of the most aesthetically beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Every corner of the hotel has been carefully considered to create the most zen like atmosphere. Part of the hotel is new and it did cause a few teething problems for us, but I’m convinced we were in the minority. There was not one other person I spoke to who didn’t say this was the best holiday of their lives, and I must say that the hotel staff truly went above and beyond to rectify any issues we had. Covid has been tough to the whole travel industry and I feel we should afford a little bit of gentle understanding where we can. Top tips below: 🌱 if you can, go half board. Don’t be fooled by the ‘buffet’ label, every single dish we had was a high end, delicious, restaurant quality masterpiece. 🌱 request a room in the older part of the property. It’s the most established, well reviewed part of the hotel and certainly everyone who stayed in it that we spoke to, adored it. 🌱book a boat trip with @captainhomersboattrips. It’s only a mile down the road and I can’t recommend it enough. 🌱try the hotel’s ‘Epicurean Experiences’. These are complementary experiences such as olive oil tasting and certainly shouldn’t be missed. 🌱if you want to splash out, upgrade to the Haute Living Lounge.
