Minore Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Southern Corfu

I can't believe no one before me has written a TripAdvisor review for this place! I had a lovely relaxing holiday by myself (20-something woman) in a studio apartment at Minore. The flat had everything I needed; kitchenette, shower, balcony with a sea view, good air-conditioning. The location was brilliant; just a few minutes' walk to the beach for sunbathing and swimming in the blue sea, and for dining in the beachside restaurants or having a cocktail in one of the beach bars as the sun set. There's an ATM and a supermarket just round the corner. Ten minutes' walk will take you to the bus stop for the bus into Corfu Town, or to the Mesongi river for a boat trip (I recommend Captain Homer), and you can walk the lovely coastal road to Boukari (about 3 miles), finding little coves you'll have all to yourself on the way. The owner was fantastic, picking me up from the airport and dropping me back off, and I was made to feel very welcome. I felt very safe there as a young woman alone. WiFi worked perfectly every day. Just returned from visit to the island. First time at Minore studios. They are perfect. Very basic, but clean and in good location. Very quiet, but 5 mins walk from shops, bars and beach. Amazing value for money (€100 p.p per week in July!!!) towels changed every other day and sheets once a week, rubbish removed every day. At the price we paid, we were expecting none of that. Also free wifi. The owner Billy lives on site and is always there to answer any queries. He is a lovely man. I can only comment on the restaurant, but the food, waiters and view was impeccable. My sister was feeling too hot, and without even asking, they brought a bucket of ice and a cold compress and helped us. ||The food was amazing, we ordered grilled feta (i recommend) and tzatziki and vine leaves. All faboulous.
