I’m not exaggerating when I say this place served the best octopus and calamari I’ve ever had—hands down. I’ve traveled, tasted, and hunted for great seafood in the world, but nothing comes close to what I experienced here.

The octopus was cooked to absolute perfection: melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right amount of char to bring out a smoky, savory depth. Each bite was rich, flavorful, and delicately seasoned to let the freshness shine. No rubbery texture. No overpowering sauces. Just masterfully prepared octopus that speaks for itself.

And the calamari? Unreal. Light, crisp, golden batter that gave way to tender, sweet rings of squid—no chewiness, no grease overload. It was clean, crisp, and impossibly addictive. Honestly, I could’ve eaten a second plate on my own.

Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance elevated the whole experience without feeling pretentious. If you’re a seafood lover—or even if you’re not—this spot is worth going out of your way for. It’s not just a meal; it’s a memory.

As our first meal on Corfu I wanted this to be great and the reviews made me excited. Unfortunately, it was disappointing.

The staff were really charming but the food was not good. Aside from a nice aubergine dip to start, this was nowhere near the standard of food I've eaten previously in Greece. It was also my girlfriend's first Greek meal, and I'd waxed lyrical about Greek cuisine - amongst my favourite.

We tried to eat local, traditional classics (sofritto and moussaka) but it was not good quality. If you're serving your main courses with frozen veg you have to question how Greek this is. Perhaps this is expected in a tourist destination, but we've had so much better at half the price elsewhere.

It's quite clear that my experience isn't typical if the reviews are to be believed, but I did see another table return their half eaten soffritos - so maybe something isn't quite right at the moment. It's a nice little restaurant in a good location with excellent hosts. The food should reflect this. I hope it does better for...

No food from menu (always should ask). Minestrone soup was with PORK!!! (GOOGLE IT). Just keep in mind - you are going to someone's house and they have their own style and rules. Attitude from personal is weird like we're old friends, but we're not. I came to eat tasty food, but stayed hungry and went back home to cook. They should relate to customers like to customers, because prices are expensive and I don't want to listen some jokes about where I am from and etc. My friends ordered dorado (16€) and it was not tasty. After carafe of white wine both went drunk as **. Do not recommend. Prices are expensive, menu small and evem from this small menu they don't have everything.
