Electra Syros — Hotel in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

Location of the hotel is simply fantastic, about 10 minutes walking to the city/port, with amazing views over the bay - if you book the room on the sea side. Hotel staff extremely nice and helpful, they are really doing their best to make the guests happy. Breakfast is small but good - something different every day, some cakes, eggs, sausages, cheese pie, etc. The room was big enough, clean, various amenities in the bathroom. We also had balcony which was nice place to sit for a while at evenings. Internet connection is free and working fairly well. Not much to complain about, but shower was rather small with curtains which didn't really work, we had water all over the bathroom every time after shower. On the other note, internet connection uses captivity portal - fine, except this one was disconnecting my phone every 10 minutes. You really could get rid of it and rather make people sign a paper at checking with T&C. Last point - the coffee during breakfast could have some more...

Undoubtedly I had one of the best stay in my life (and I travel a LOT) at Electra Syros. Location, cleanness, room, view, breakfast with delicious homemade pie (different every day!), WiFi, staff, everything was 5star and the view from the rooftop terrace was just stunning. Street is safe to walk in the evening and is very quiet. Laundry service is also available. The manager, Martha, is simply amazing. The moment you’re greeted by her, you know that your stay is going to be wonderful. The hotel Electra is a magic and beautiful place, just the perfect hotel to enjoy the wonderful city of Ermoupolis. It is located right by the stunning site of little Venice and offers very clean and elegant rooms with either sea- or City view to a very good price for value. The hotel also has a large rooftop terrace with sea view, which is a very beautiful place to enjoy a nice frappe. The owners were very welcoming and kind and the breakfast they made was delicious.
