This is the third year I was staying at this wonderful place in Perissa, and I keep returning every year, this time I stayed for over 2 weeks. I would not want to go anywhere else. Kyria Koula, Kyrios Aggelos, Katerina and little Aggelos always make sure that my vacation is as enjoyable as possible, they are wonderful hosts! They are really lovely and helpful, whatever you need, you can ask them, suggestions about what to do where to go on the island, airport transfers, restaurant recommendations, Kyria Koula even gave me a hat that was badly needed on the extremely hot days. But if you just want to have a nice coffee and a lovely chat, they are always around. No wonder they have so many returning customers. The houses are about 5 minute walk from the beach so they are at an excellent location, and the main road, bus stop, shops and bakery are just a few minutes walk away. Yet the place is so quiet and relaxing, I really love it! The houses are nice and clean, and you can have your privacy whether you travel solo or as a couple. Wifi also works perfectly both inside the rooms and outside. I absolutely feel like I am at home whenever I come here. Thank you so very much again for your kindness and for your hospitality! I can't...
Read moreOmg… this place is everything we wanted and a lot more. |We wanted real Greece and we got it. Our room was spotless, fantastic air con and the shower was fab, hot and powerful. |It is very basic with twin beds, dressing table, a small dressing area, a tiny bathroom with a shower attached to the wall. |And a fridge. |We are fed up of high end resorts with no character. |A table and chairs just outside. The gardens and grounds are immaculate. |Momma Cola and her family are lovely and provided us with a kettle, crockery, cutlery and a warm welcome everytime we saw her. |The location is perfect a bakery and supermarket less than 10 mins walk. We had breakfast everyday at the bakery. |A scooter and quad bike hire across the road and the beach a 15 min walk. |Bus stop across the road too. |We will return and highly recommend. If you want posh and boring keep away if you want character and...
Read moreThe room was of a good size, with air-conditioning (totally necessary) and private bathroom. It's located in a very quiet place and run by a very nice greek woman. The place has a supermarket and a bakery (24h open) just 2 min walking distance. If you're planning to rent a car this place is perfect as it's next to a main road and has free parking. If you're planning to move around by bus it may be a bit inconvenient as you'll have to go to Fira first to get to other places, but there's is a bus stop also next to the place where you can get off before arriving to Perissa. It's also 5 min walking distance from the beach and beach restaurants. The only thing we didn't like is that there were always a few bugs flying around, some spiders and we had to kill a huge cockroach...
