I’ve been coming to Greece as a holiday maker for over 40 years! Since my early 20’s! I’ve never been to Lesbos So that was a welcomed addition to my Greek travels! |My budget for holidays has changed somewhat through the decades and I have to say thank goodness for that! |This was not just a holiday it was our Honeymoon. We married the Saturday previous and flew out the following Wednesday! We wanted somewhere exclusive, special, private and beautiful and we got it in spades! This could not have been a better place to decompress after the madness of these past weeks and properly relax unwind and have a chance to process all that went on in our marriage year! |I can’t talk for my husband - he may write his own review and of course we’ve talked avidly about the place constantly! |This is entirely, hand on heart the best holiday I’ve ever had in Greece to date and we’re keen to come back! |I hope there’s space to list everything! There may have to be a part 2! |Firstly, the unsung hero of this trip is the Pool Man apologies for not knowing his name! But his diligence and care of all the pools pre dawn was brilliant! No|Pool no holiday - simple. Cleaned and left sparkling daily. He’s a true testament as to how this villa complex is run. Such care with the details! He’s one of many! The staff here are fabulous and so kind and helpful and again totally on their game! Our housekeeper again thorough and caring of our needs and totally discreet. |Linen fabulous, beds Uber comfy and constant towel And linen changes! |The breakfasts were the main events! My goodness the anticipation! The treat of it! The surprise of it all served at our balcony table daily with a hot choice and continental styling with a Greek twist coffee and fresh juice and enough usually to see us through lunch as well! Really brilliant and a must have! Service here is second to none! They clearly love what they do! |The villa is perfect clean, stylish, well apportioned has everything you need and it feels private. A good generous starter pack is gifted of coffee milk juice fruit oil jams etc perfect to get you going! |The game changer is the pool being private exclusively for our use! What a gift and a joy this is! The views are stunning from every angle. |Anaxos only a five minute drive away a lovely beach side village with great food and lovely atmosphere Aggelos Taverna is a must! Magda the perfect hostess and very good home cooked food! We ate there many times. Petra a little further 10 mins in the other direction another quirky boho town loads of choice and a lovely atmosphere but the jewel in the crown of this coast is Molyvos a hill side fortress town carved into rock we see it clearly from our side of the coast! It looks ancient like Troy from the ancient stories! It’s just a fab place to explore so many levels literally as you wind up the hillside! Pretty quaint labyrinthine cobbled streets canopied with vines! Artisan shops gift shops pottery to die for! And an abundance of restaurant beach side and higher all perfect for the perfect sunset! |There’s a jeweller there called Stellious he runs Irida which is a must he’s brilliant designer himself he represents other jewellery designers as well! We bought 5 incredible pieces from him! All unique and original and beautiful! He’s getting his own exclusive review! |We wanted peace and quite not too busy with tourists so slightly coming out of season works for us as the pace slows! It’s not quite as hot as well which makes a difference. We’re men in our 60’s needing space tranquility and a haven from our busy lives and careers.|My husbands first time to Greece he’s smitten as I knew he would be by the people the food and the beauty of space! |Well done Eleia two very happy contented customers and a 6 star rating from us! Majestic hospitality, majestic location, majestic services, majestic comfort and privacy are the luxury we found during our stay at Eleia Seafront Villas in Anaxos located on the Island of Lesvos.

The luxurious villa is nestled in a very quiet region within magical landscapes, nestled on the edge of a hill facing the sea. Everything is intelligently designed.

In each room breathtaking views of the sea, unique and magical sunsets and sunrises. A terrace with sea view on each side wherever you are sitting. Private pool for each villa, with stunning sea views. A bedroom on the first floor with sea view when you are lying down. Amazing! All the ingredients to make our stay an unforgettable memory.

Best of welcome greetings, the staff is very professional. A high standard of care is given to each villa both in terms of cleanliness and services to clients.

One of the best holiday / travel accomodation experiences we have had in our 17 years of international travel.||We stayed in a seafront room, with a private pool. All things that matter in a stay were outstanding …… the friendly & welcoming staff, the quality of the room design & features, the delightful daily breakfast basket brought to you table, the peaceful, quiet & beautiful location overlooking the bay, with Petra, Molyvos & the Turkish coastline in the distance and your own private swimming pool, with comfy deck chairs.||There are only 7 rooms, so you are not over run by other guests, the 4 Villa’s are seperate and self contained, so you feel like you are in your own private piece of paradise.||You get to choose your preferred breakfast time, with wonderful healthy breakfast brought to your table situated on a large balcony overlooking the North Aegean Sea ||There are nice places to enjoy dinner nearby at Avlaki Beach and in Petra or Anaxos….. just a 5 minutes drive away. Given Eleia is on the north of the island, guests would normally have a car to travel here, as Mytilene is the primary entry point to Lesvos, and it is a 50 minute drive from there to the north side.||A special treat for guests is the sunset each evening.||We’ll be back here to stay when we next return to Lesvos…..
