AZUL Paraíso — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. First of all the beach and the sun beds are super old and dirty. Second of all the staff is super slow, nowhere to be found and the beverages are not good including the frappe, aperol, wine etc. But the worst part about this place is the owner. There was a person who came next to us claiming that our umbrella which we paid for and shadow are his. Not only this person was invading our personal space as a family but on top of that the owner instead of asking the other person to move he took his side and started attacking us saying that we should move. This is totally outrageous. Greek defending Greek and treating foreigner customers so poorly. Azul paraiso is far from any kind of "paraiso". If you ever visit the beach of anaxos don't ever stay at their bar or side...

Place is perfect next to the beach with comfortable sunbeds, waiters are nice and serve quick. Prices are in the average around, but neither cheap or expensive. Food is not Greek oriented, mainly international dishes clearly with intentions to satisfy Dutch, British people with pancakes and waffles. As said, do not come here if you are expecting to feel and enjoy the Greek atmosphere but more if you are tired of Greek food and want to change for a day. Same food you can find all over the world from US to Vietnam or Norway, so clearly standarized. Pizzas does not seem the best. Place has parking reserved for customers which in crowded days (which we did not experience in July, and maybe August is different)...

Beautiful beach bar in a good location. Polite staff, but slow service. The food was satisfactory, but most of it was frozen, considering that the pizza we ordered arrived before the salad, the Arabic bread, and the chicken strips with french fries. Another major downside was the charge for the sauces. I asked for mayonnaise, which they brought without informing me about the charge. Obviously, since I needed a little more, as the amount served was in a small paper cup, I asked for a second one. In the end, I paid €3 for those two small cups (1.5€ per cup). The charge is unjustifiably high, especially for a place that has recently opened. I will not...
