Caravan by the Sea... A restaurant I discovered by chance this year. At first, the name gave me the impression of a casual, laid-back place, but when I arrived, I saw the entire parking lot was full, and getting a table without a reservation was tough. Luckily, a table was just leaving, and I got to sit in their place.
I don’t even know where to begin... Every dish I had was absolutely delicious. You must try the green salad—everything comes fresh from their garden. Alongside, we had a wonderfully fresh eggplant salad. For a hot starter, we ordered zucchini flowers stuffed with white cheese… they were perfect.
For the main course, we had grilled jumbo shrimp and my personal favorite, Kalloni sardines—both were simply excellent.
For dessert, we had Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts. In my opinion, it’s one of the simplest yet most profound desserts in Greek cuisine.
The restaurant is right by the sea, and you can go down the stairs to the water. It opens around 11 AM, and honestly, you should try everything on the menu. Let yourself be immersed in the peaceful atmosphere and the beauty of the food.

Read moreThe food was very well prepared and delicious. The location itself is also beautiful since you can eat very close to the sea while watching a beautiful sunset of the island. The staff is also friendly. During our visit, it seemed like they were a little overwhelmed. Our food needed a little over one hour to be served (one salad and one grilled fish). This was also somewhat happening for the other guests as well. Also, bread was added to our bill which we never received. No real reaction of the waiter while mentioning it (properly too busy). Also, although reserving a table two days in advance, we got one with an obstructed view. A very touristy place in general with...
Read moreThis is a small exclusively outdoor restaurant arrived at by walking along the edge of the sea or driving a challenging one way road. It is a place with no immediate neighbours, with a lovely outlook onto the sea. Completely quiet except for waves, wind and birds. Local food very well and thoughtfully prepared on unusually pleasant but simple furniture. Family run with attentive service, including English language as necessary. On a fine day with little wind it is just a lovely spot with good, clean, freshly prepared food offered by friendly people. It seems far away from the bustle of things - and from hustle, as well. Good luck to the proprietors as they grow...
