😊: I loved the staff they were really kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I was unwell on one of the days and they were really lovely and assisted me. The cleanliness was also of a very high standard which was great. The hotels location was also amazing a very short walk to the beach and tavernas. They also provided me with a kettle upon my request as a big tea drinker!. 😢: The biggest downside for me was my room location. I should imagine other regular guests would have reserved different rooms but mine was right next to the reception lobby, kitchen and breakfast terrace. This unfortunately created a lot of noise and woke me up early every morning while they were preparing breakfast for the guests. Also the noise from the corridors was keeping me up at night as the doors slam shut and you could hear everything going on outside the room. As someone who really values their sleep, this was a really important issue for me. I would imagine if you were upsatirs or away from the lobby area then you would not have as much disruption. The final issues was the extra charge for breakfast which became quite confusing. Best hotel in Skala Erressos if not on the whole Island! The hotel management and staff have been outstanding in their considerations and flexibility, emphasising their want for us to have a very enjoyable stay. Beds, OMG, so comfortable, refreshed linen every couple of days and room cleaned daily. Fresh soft towels add to the luxury. Lovely bathroom with power shower and seemingly endless hot water. Ice cold fridge in the room, with shutters to cool and the all important air con and mosquito guard on the door. Big balconies with views to the beautiful mountains and the little alleyways of the town, perfect for cat watching. Breakfast plentiful and fresh with local produce and friendly service. The location is excellent, quiet but very close to the beach and shops and restaurant. I would highly recommend staying here. Just book it, do it. Galini Hotel is run by Fani Galini as a true family enterprise in the best meaning. As a result a large group of guests return (nearly) every year. This leads to many happy reunions at the delicious breakfast buffet.

The clean rooms are well equipped with comfortable, recently updated beds, air conditioning, a good internet connection and nice balconies.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Even arrivals late in the night are no problem. Someone will stay awake.

The included breakfast buffet consists of local food, e.g. cakes from the village bakery, fruit and vegetables and even specialties like fig sirup.
