We had a truly delightful stay at Ilara in Erosos Skala during our writing retreat, and it was everything we needed and more.

The rooms were air-conditioned, clean, and fully equipped with all the essentials—simple, cozy, and just right. The bed was super comfy, and we had the option for daily cleaning, which was great for flexibility during our stay.

What really made the experience special was the friendly and accommodating staff—always ready to help and attended to every request with a smile. Their warmth made us feel so welcome.

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to everything in Skala Erosos, from the beach to shops and tavernas. Whether you’re here for work, rest, or play, it’s the kind of spot that makes you feel at home instantly.

I spent seven nights at the Ilaira this year and immediately felt at home. Vangelis (fluent in English) and his wife (fluent in English and German) are very welcoming, charming, kind, and always willing to help. The house is clean, well-maintained and in a great location - less than a minute's walk to the beach, close to all events, bars and restaurants, yet quiet without party noise. Recently I spent one week at Ilaira/Skala Eressos. Bathrooms and rooms had been renovated during the winter, so they are verry nice, clean and tidy. The Hotel Manager and his team are verry friendly. Public parking, super markets, restaurants and souvenir shops are just a stone throw away. To the beaches of Skala it is only a 5 minutes walk - both directions.
