The owner started screaming at us. We had already had dinner on another place but we were still hungry so we sat, and we told the waiter we only wanted sardines and he said It was fine. We said very politely that we didn't want bread or water (they brought an unrequested big water, even thought on the other places they give tap water for free). When the sardines came, we realized they were completely raw (we can't eat that because It makes us sick, we are not used to It), so we asked very politely to the waiter, if they could cook then, and we explained clearly that (obviously) we would pay for It to be cook, because we understand that It takes more time. We also explained that It makes my bf very sick, and repeated that we would pay. The waiter called the owner, and he started literally screaming at us, that we "cannot play with food, and that we got what we ordered". At first he didn't accepted to cook It (even thought we would pay), and then he screamed more and said maybe, if you pay more, for the bigger sized version (that one is cooked). We just couldn't stand being treated that way, so we paid and left without eating anything.
We are gonna stay on the area for a week and we understand that we were spending little, but we were gonna come many more times to have a full dinner, ordering way more, of course. So the lost is yours, for us as clients, and for everyone else that saw how you treated us.
Also, we are very polite young people, we've never experience anything like this, we are completely shocked. I told the owner, after we paid there's no need to be rude, and he still doesn't understand that you can't scream at...
Read moreVery bad experience in this restaurant. First of all, we waited a long time before being served, and the table behind us (having arrived later) was served before us. The price was exorbitant for the portions. Then, when the waitress gave me my plate (I had ordered a beef burger, but I got a beef patty) I told her nicely that they must have made a mistake because I asked for a burger. She replied "we're not a fast food restaurant, you must be mistaken, we don't have that on the menu", so I accepted it and said nothing. When it was time to pay (12 euros for the "burger", plus the water (2 euros) and the bread (0,80 euros) that they put on our table without explanation) I looked at the menu to make sure I'd made a mistake, and it indeed said "beef burger", so I notified the waitress and the man who took our order. He told me "we're not Mcdonald, we don't make burgers like you think we do". He must have thought I was American because I didn't speak Greek, but he was wrong! Then I said, "Well, we just had to notify you about the menu to avoid any misunderstanding", and he shouted at me, saying, "What do you want? You don’t want to pay? Say it!" I replied directly, saying that paying was not a problem and that it was only a matter of notifying them to avoid any issues and disappointment on part of the customer. In conclusion I strongly advise against this place. It’s my worst experience in Eresos, and I've been here for 1 and a...
Read moreThey couldn't be more rude and bad at service!
We ordered 2 breams and 1 rocket salad for two people. We waited for 45 mins and we got only 1 fish. It was not possible for them to misunderstand because we left the table to choose the fish from the fridge/display Windows. We chose and ordered 2 fish. After 45 mins when we got only 1 fish we asked the reason, they said they misunderstood but they can Cook the second one. As we didn't want to wait for another 45 mins we didn't ask for the second one.
When they bring the rocket salad, they also brought caciki and we thought it is their treat. We couldn't be more wrong. Because when we saw the Bill they charged us for the caciki. We explain the situation and they insisted for us to pay even though they get the wrong orders both for fish and salads.
When i tried to discuss the matter with the person, he started to shout at me in front of everyone saying that I should be ashamed for refusing to pay for sth like caciki. The problem was obviously not paying for caciki but their behavior and rudeness.
İt was and awful experience and no hospitality. Paid 42 euros for an half kilos of bream, one rocket salad, bread (yes they charge for bread...
