Just had a great 4 night stay at Kanale Suites the location is approximately 500 Metres to Naoussa town centre.
Staff were excellent. Yes there are stairs here and there are no real footpaths down into the town but you are in a Greek island village and that adds to the vibe. The hotel does have a restaurant if you want to eat in.
Breakfast was plentiful with hot foods, cereals, local baked pastries tea coffee and you can also ask for a fresh omelette, fried eggs or eggs Benedict from the chefs in the kitchen I recommend travelling here in late May early June before the peak season hits. The population increases from 30k to 100K.
Once in Naoussa town centre there are shops restaurants and ice creameries. 150 Metres up the road from Kanales is a small supermarket which has a continental deli, fruits, vegetables, wines, beers and your staple groceries. We sat on our balcony one night and enjoyed a few drinks and a meal of cold meats, cheese and fresh bread we derived from the supermarket (Greek cherry tomatoes and feta are to die for)
If you want to eat on the waterfront expect to pay a premium. I suggest walking down the alley ways and looking for local family owned restaurants where you will pay half the price for an authentic Greek meal of Greek salad, squid or octopus. There are plenty of things to do in Paros. Hire a car, take a boat trip or just relax by the deep hotel pool.
Thanks again to all the staff and Stefios our transfer driver. We had a great time and would recommend Kanales Suites for a 3 or 4 day stay thats all you...
Read moreUnable to connect to wifi. They told me it was my phones fault. They changed the wifi settings and told me they fixed it when in reality they put me on a risky network. (Image attached)
Panoramic balcony is actually two small balconies, wouldn’t call it panoramic.
The jacuzzi did not work. When we told the staff they said “you’re probably doing something wrong.” This was incorrect. They said they fixed it, we were unable to check because it was our last day. Hopefully not an issue for you like it was us. So much for a romantic jacuzzi that we paid a lot extra for!
As mentioned in other reviews, there is not a lift. Be prepared for winding stairs.
The walk into town does not have sidewalks, had to be on high alert to avoid oncoming traffic.
The rooms have paper thin walls and doors.
The restaurant onsite was good and had seating outside or inside which was nice to accept the wind if you wanted.
Breakfast was good, I appreciated they stayed open until 11am and one day we walked in at 10:50am and they did not rush us.
Needless to say, this was not the honeymoon experience we hoped for and I would not recommend...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that this hotel was in the best location possible. That is why we originally booked it & we were able to walk back and forth from the town. Now for the details:
Pros: location!! friendly front desk staff / gave us helpful information strong Ac included breakfast (the waitresses won’t give you instructions.. you’re able to order omelettes/eggs / coffee freshly made but they don’t tell you any of that) clean give beach towels and bag for use
Cons: as other reviews have stated, the shower is horrible. Water splashes all over the floor as there’s nothing stopping it. There’s also these weird windows in the bathrooms that open into the hallway?? Good idea if it faced the outdoors but you won’t want to open it if you’re in there so I didn’t understand the purpose beds are hard as rocks, but this is personal since some people like harder beds bed sheets are like napkins (super thin) high price can only be due to the location, there’s not much else as to why it’s priced where it is for the level of stay smell of cigarettes in the hallways, but this is a problem...
