This fortress is one on the most famous spots either in Paros and Naoussa, once in the past was a big tower used as protection against pirates and also as watch tower to control the incoming and outgoing boats. There were two of this towers and within them there was a heavy iron chain.
The other tower was completely destroyed with the pass of time, and only the remnants of this defensive system is the right tower, the one we are writing a review.
This remnants are open to the public and you can walk into to admire its beauty, it is partly sunken on the harbour, so you could find some water inside, just avoid climbing on the walls to avoid fell down due to loose stones.
