G Living Appartments — Hotel in Sami Municipality

G.Living 365 (formerly Q Living) is situated at the rural edge of Agia Efimia, between local Greeks, who live in the neighborhood, at a comfortable distance to the harbor, beach and tavernas. All at approx 150 meters. The building looks quite new, as do the apartments.

We stayed in apartment Joy, slightly above ground level, with a spacious terrace facing Northeast, looking at buildings and mountains. Sunrise is clearly visible and the terrace has sun up until early afternoon. Two chairs and a table are provided.

The apartment has a very spacious dining/seating area with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, detergent is provided) oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemachine (filters provided), cooker, fridge, freezer, pans, dishes, cups, glasses and cutlery. A large 2 person comfortable (sleeping) couch. Besides that, there are three ‘seating bags’. Dining table. Decoration is minimalistic, but stylish. Two ceiling fans and airconditioning in the room. Coffee, tea and sugar are provided.

Separate bedroom with a two person bed with firm, but comfortable mattress. Approx 1.60m wide and 2.00m long, 2 pillows, a desk with mirror and chair, two bedside tables with individual lights. Spacious built in closets witch provide a safe, ironing iron, blowdryer, 2 extra pillows, a blanket etc. Plenty of room to store your clothes. Separate airconditioning unit and ceiling fan.

Separate bathroom, which is small (quite common in Greece), but sufficient. A very small bathtub in which you have to stand to shower. Toilet, bin, sink, mirror with some storing space. Washingmachine for which also some detergent is provided.

Cleaning happens twice a week, the bed is then made, clean towels (2 big, 2 small, and a floor towel) are provided.

Sliding doors to the terrace have glass, shutters and mosquito netting. The same for the bedroom windows.

All in all a very comfortable and clean place to stay. The only bothering detail is that the wallpaper starts coming off the wall.

Depending on your time of arriving, probably no one will be there to welcome you. But you will receive instructions on how to enter your apartment. When you arrive, a bottle of wine, juice and water are provided in the fridge.

We booked a studio in G.living for 2 nights. We came from zakynthos by ferry,and due to problems with our rental car we arrived at the hotel later than they expected us (but we informed them of course). There is no reception and we got the key from the cleaning lady. The 2nd day we had to make an apointment with the owners for the check in/out (all in one!). In short:||Pros:||-Nicely decorated studios.||-relatively cheap||-relatively clean||-quiet location,but close to the busy areas of ag.efimia.||-Welcome basket with local products||-close to myrtos beach||||Cons:||-No view||-No reception,got the key from the maid,left the key on the kitchen when we left,we briefly saw the owner because he wanted to give us a receipt. It felt weird.||-Cleaning every other day||-They invested in new kitchen with appliances,including a fancy filter coffee machine & dishwasher. However,they wouldn't spend the few euros to offer guests sugar/coffee sticks and washing tablets (who would buy a whole box of detergent for a few days?)||-We only got two small bottles of (cheap) shampoo & 2 soaps (where other accomodations offer a whole line of shower necessities)||-we only realized there was a boiler that was off at the time,when i took a cold shower waiting for the warm water to come.||All in all, we are happy we only stayed there for a couple of days, as it was poor compared to our accomodation in zakynthos. I hope they will change their tactics,as mouth-to-mouth advertisement is strongly needed when it comes to such...

We are leaving in the morning 25-6 early so I thought I would write this now. We have been here almost two weeks and it's been great. Location A1 nice and quiet and a short flat Stroll to the beach front. Apartment is first class, I was at first worried that the foto's on the website and travel agents were from when it was renewed , I think 2011. This place is spot on, very large apartment double airco, in living and in the bedroom. The fridge freezer is also large can get all your stuff in there no problem.|Coffee maker, microwave and even an oven if your into cooking.|There are too many places close by and not expensive to sit in and cook. We had the apartment on the side of the block , very large balcony about 20 M2. Bathroom has all you need. There is even a dishwasher and washing machine in this place. Ideal to wash all you things before you travel back, saves time when your home.|The cleaning lady/ housekeeper was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. The sheets and towels are refreshed every two days. |The location is A1 because it back off the coastal road , so it's noise free, but close enough to all the restaurants and shops.|Plenty to choose from, pity it's Mostly Greek. Not too many international restaurants here. A five minute walk away is a great bakery selling not only bread but all that goes with it.|If your looking for a nice large and quiet place choose this one, you won't regret it.|Downsides : The bed is a little too hard, otherwise...
