Forest Resort Suites — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

All in all it’s was a good stay with some problems.

Cleaning takes place every day, change of linen and towels every second day.

Booking was made 2 months prior. The booking was made directly with the host and it was clear that it was for a room at the upper floor of the hotel. Upon arrival the lady running the place showed us to our room which was located at the ground floor. I was furious and while trying to explain her she wasn’t paying any attention and saying that all rooms are the same etc. After being mad and talking on the phone with the woman I made the reservation with, they showed us to a room on the upper floor, like the one we have booked. I really have to mention here, that until the lady took us to the room we had agreed to book, she was saying that there is no other room at that time and she will check what she can do after 2 days!!! It was a really bad behaviour, after a long trip. After taking all the staff in our room, she asked for my ID, I gave it to her and kindly requested it back but told me to pick it up next day!!

Those guys there need to get a little more professional and not have scammer’s behaviour if the want to take Greek hospitality seriously.

Pros The room itself is located in the heart of a pine forest overlooking the sea (from the upper floor rooms), it is spacious and recently renovated. Bed is comfortable, pillows could be better.

Cons The aircondition is mounted in a really wrong place, which can be really annoying while sleeping. There are no lights on top of the mirror in the bathroom, it was impossible for someone who needs reading glasses to see anything. Wi-Fi is no good and connection is unstable.

PS You need absolutely a car to be able to stay there. Walking to the bus station is not really an option since it’s on the hill top. PS No breakfast at the hotel, closest option is 1km away. PS Sound...

Had a perfect few nights here. I've never experienced such a warm and helpful host, immediately offering us takeaway options as our flight arrived extra late and then bringing us some yoghurt and beautiful homemade apricot jam. The location is lovely, it's nice to be a little bit set back in nature.

We had a hire car so moving around the small island was never a problem, but you are still just walking distance to Troulos beach and shops, tavernas and the regular and timely bus service if you have no vehicle. The room was modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were some power outages but this was an island-wide issue. I have nothing bad to say and we wish we'd been able to stay longer!...

Θα ήταν άδικο να μην γράψω εδώ τις εντυπώσεις μου, διότι το Forest Resort συνολικά και το δωμάτιο που μέναμε δεν είναι απλά όμορφο, το νιώθεις οικείο ενώ ταυτόχρονα σου προσφέρει τις ανέσεις που αναζητάς στις διακοπές.

Να ξεκινήσω από το πιο σημαντικό, την καθαριότητα: κάθε μέρα που επιστρέφαμε από το μπάνιο το βρίσκαμε πεντακάθαρο, με αλλαγμένα σεντόνια και πετσέτες. Εκτίμησα επίσης ιδιαίτερα την εξαιρετική ποιότητα του στρώματος του κρεβατιού, αφού εκεί περνάμε το 1/3 του χρόνου μας. Επιπλέον, εξοπλισμός πρακτικός για την τοποθέτηση των προσωπικών μας αντικειμένων, διαρρύθμιση χώρου τέτοια ώστε να κυκλοφορείς μέσα στο δωμάτιο άνετα. Προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό, και πάρκινγκ ακριβώς δίπλα από το κτίριο του ξενοδοχείου.

Η τοποθεσία του μοναδική: σε ύψωμα, ώστε από το μπαλκόνι να αγναντεύουμε στο βάθος τη θάλασσα, και να ξυπνάμε με την πρωινή αύρα του δάσους. Σε απόσταση λίγων λεπτών με το αυτοκίνητο σε μερικές από τις ομορφότερες παραλίες του νησιού, και στο ενδιάμεσο αρκετά σούπερ μάρκετ, ταβέρνες, φούρνος, ώστε να μην μας λείπει τίποτα. Είχαμε έτσι την επιλογή είτε να τρώμε εκεί κοντά, είτε να παίρνουμε προμήθειες και να ετοιμάζουμε σνακ / φαγητό στο πλήρως εξοπλισμένο κουζινάκι του δωματίου, και να το απολαμβάνουμε στο μπαλκόνι.
