We came here expecting good food at a decent price, considering the fact that it is family-run and that it is right next to some other very popular restaurants, having therefore more competition. We ordered 3 meals and water as a drink; we chose a kleftiko, stamna and a slow cooked lamb. We received a 54 euro bill, the highest we ever got here in Skiathos (which already has quite high prices). The food was bland, the lamb especially; the meat itself was quite dry and extremely hot, to the point of letting off steam when we moved it. It was very "wet" and oily, almost akin to a stifado or soup. The vegetables were likely frozen, or at least tasted so, in particular the french fries. Moreover, the portions were quite average. The gifted dessert was fine, nothing special. All of this would be tolerable - kind of - had the prices been halved or so. But with such high prices, you expect much higher standards. If I had to say something good, it's that the staff was very ready and kind. The location itself was decent. However, the most important thing, the food, was...
Read moreWe didn't find this restaurant to be too good, despite other positive reviews. The restaurant looked promising from the outside, but problems arose as soon as we walked in. Firstly, the staff were not attentive at all and we were not made to feel welcome at any point. Once sat down at the table, we were eventually seen to by an anything but enthusiastic staff member. Not only did the restaurant get our order wrong, but we had to ask after ten minutes for our wine to be brought out, as it seemed that the staff had forgotten this. We had all ordered beef burgers, but the restaurant actually serves lamb as a substitute for beef, which meant that some of us were unable to enjoy our meal. In fact, the burger was not even served in a bun. This was made worse by the fact that the restaurant was infested with flies, which really disrupted our meal. We much preferred Nectar and Ambrosia, which is worth the longer walk from the...
Read moreAmazing service and excellent food quality. Staff welcomed everyone on their arrival at the restaurant, very friendly in general. Passing by the restaurant on our way to the bus stop (Troulos Bus Stop 18) we saw that most of the times it was full so we had to make a reservation on the desired date and time that we wanted to try it out. Even so when we finally went we noticed that there were people coming without reservations and the staff would ask them nicely if they wanted to wait by the lovely Bar side of the place to wait in queue for the next available table. Definitely would recommended this place for anyone that want to try Mediterrean cousine and have a lovely time on...
