Hotell Suzanna — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

Our 2 bed Greek style apartment ( no 2) was basic but perfectly adequate with a balcony over looking a garden and good size bedrooms/ comfy beds . |Bathroom was a bit shabby and the shower curtain looked clean but I think a shower. screen is always better to guarantee cleanliness ||Hotel grounds were well kept with roses and fruit trees and the small|Pool was a welcome area to cool|Off and relax after exploring the island |Fabulous location just a short 4 min walk to the beautiful Achladies beach plus a bar, restaurant , bus stop 10 and supermarket within a few mins . ||Unfortunately our A/C unit was faulty for our entire stay which meant it made a very loud rattling/pulsing whirring noise which interrupted our sleep and prevented us from using the balcony when it was running . The owners tried to fix it but needed parts replacing so couldn’t be rectified for our short stay. The only way to fix it was to remove the outer metal cabin for the a/c unit which didn’t seem to be very safe . |This issue was particularly frustrating as we had requested a quiet room in advance for medical reasons |The owners tried to help us by offering a free late check out and would have moved us to another room if they had availability but they were full . |Fortunately the temperature dropped slightly this week and we managed with the ceiling fan...

From the friendly welcome and 6 pack of beer and large bottle of water in the fridge to the free very late checkout we had the perfect stay here. Room was spotless, bed super comfy, bedding and towels changed every other day. Small pool vastly under used, it was like we had our own private pool 😊.|The owner, Baros ( forgive me if spelt wrong) never stopped working, from cleaning rooms to maintenance of the gardens, he never stopped. One small issue with electric coming onto the property causing ac to trip was rectified next day with him getting Electric company to repair box on main road. Accommodated us with late check out and sorted taxi to airport with no fuss.|He doesn’t deal with the big tour operators so if you’re looking for a self catering hotel in a great spot, 5 mins from beach, 2 mins from bus stop 10 and restaurants and supermarkets all within 5 mins walk you could do a lot lot worse...

Great location in Achladies with short Walking distance to the Beach and super market. |Nice spacious rooms but here it stops. |The hotel is located right next to a busy and loud street. |Most of the rooms Are located to the backyard with flowers and Stuf, but one (the one we got) pointed straight out to the street and the entrance to the hotell so you never got any privacy.||The AC worked really bad. Even though we had the temparature on 17c all time we were inside it never got quite cold. ||The staff also has some potential. |You barely see them around, and if you smile you Are not guaranteed a smile back. ||The pool is very poor. Its not any pretty surroundings, and you Are neither allowed to drink or eat antyding here. ||Would go to the area again but in that case i would stay in one of the...
