Porta Rossa — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

What a great restuarant, the service was excellent and the food 5*. We stayed at nearby Achladies beach where there was various so called restuarants, but they were serving beach bar food, not like Porta Rossa. We went about 4 times over our fortnight on Skiathos, their Stifado and Kleftiko was excellent, the house wine was very well priced and decent. Was a bit quieter then expected, but We did arrive late after not getting into another restaurant. Easy to go past on main road. Porta Rossa should have been our 1st choice. Impeccable service. Food outstanding quality and taste. It was a bit more pricey then some others but we did have a couple more drinks then usual. 1 to 3 euros more on items. But more then happy to pay for good...

My wife and I went for a meal here whilst on holiday. The place was quite busy which I feel is usually a good sign. We both enjoyed our main meal. I had moussaka and my wife oriental chicken. We even squeezed a desert in which we don't normally do. Half a litre of house wine and half of red . The bill was 53 euros. Would certainly go again...
