Makrinitsa village — Hotel in Volos Municipality

We were so delighted that we were able to walk in and get a room at Makrinitsa Village. Vuola was such an incredible host and was super welcoming. There is a delightful eating area with a balcony. The decor of the place is very cute and thoughtful. If we are in the Pelion Peninsula again, we would definitely try to stay at Makrinitsa Village. Thank you Vuola for your gracious hospitality and for making us Greek coffee while you waited for the fire department to come support you with the unexpected situation...

We stayed here for one night while visiting Makrinitsa. Voula was extremely hospitable and went out of her way to make our stay very pleasant.

The hotel is located just a little bit away from the main square, but you can easily walk there in ~5 minutes by taking some of the paths through the town. The hotel has a parking lot right out front, so you don't have to carry your bags on the paths. There is also an elevator in the hotel, which is handy if you have a decent amount of luggage.

Μείναμε στο Makrinitsa Village για 3 βράδια και πραγματικά ήταν όλα τέλεια! Το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο, με υπέροχη θέα – από τη μία το βουνό, από την άλλη ολόκληρος ο Βόλος να απλώνεται μπροστά σου σαν ζωγραφιά. Η Βούλα, η οικοδέσποινα, εξαιρετική, όπως και ο Θανάσης, ο άντρας της. Έχουν δύο υπέροχα παιδάκια, ενώ γνωρίσαμε και τους γονείς του Θανάση, την κυρία Αλίκη και τον κύριο Ηλία, που μας μάγεψαν με τις ιστορίες τους από τα παλιά. Μια οικογένεια που σε κάνει να νιώθεις σαν στο σπίτι σου. Το πρωινό πλούσιο και φτιαγμένο με μεράκι· όλα τα βασικά που χρειάζεσαι, φρέσκα και γευστικά, για να ξεκινήσει η μέρα σου με τον καλύτερο τρόπο. Από την καθαριότητα μέχρι τη φιλοξενία, από την ατμόσφαιρα μέχρι τις λεπτομέρειες, όλα ήταν προσεγμένα. Φύγαμε με τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις και βάζουμε άνετα 5/5. Σίγουρα θα...
