Melachrini Apartments — Hotel in Volvi Municipality

It's way over priced for what it offers. For example, a 4-person studio we were in was tiny, way too small for four people. It had only two double bed, a tiny bath, and a lean balcony. Four people cannot fit together in the studio or on the balcony at the same time. The kitchen is tiny and outdated, with just a few dishes, and one out of two burners malfunctioning. The garden was infested with moscitos, and the owner would water the garden in the middle of the day, or mown the lawn regardless if the guests were using it or not. The owners are also pretty rude. There is no cleaning service. We had to change our own sheets and clean our room. We also had to clean after ourselves at check out time. Check out is at 9am which is very early. Other guests around us complained as well, some had their AC broken for days, other were placed in rooms with broken balcony doors, in rooms where other people passes frequently. Way overpriced for what you get. Photos you see are probably from one of the renovated studios or apartments because the others are not like that at all. They are tiny, outdated, with either broken AC or broken burners, tiny baths with shower over toilets like in trains and paper thin walls. The owners live here as well and are often watering or mowing the garden making it unusable to guests. There are no gates so you can't let your kids roam around and anyone can walk in, moscitos will eat you alive in the garden as well. The noise level is through the roof. It was ok. Stayed in room 15 (2 adults plus a toddler). The room is too small. There is a ridiculous storage space in the room (only for one person). We were practically living in our suitcases for 5 days. Pans and forks were given to us up to a request. The actual wall in the room was peeling from the ceiling. Location wise it's a good - quiet area. Wifi is not strong (as everywhere in Greece). There were free sunbeds that came with the reservation you make. Not bad, not terrible.
