Awful. Unfriendly staff, bad smells in most of the hotel, uncomfortable rooms, useless view and the worst breakfast!
We spent 1 week in this hotel and regret every moment. Even though the place was cheap, it was still a waste of money. You're much better off paying a little more and being somewhere else. The room was small even for a Greek room with a shower and bathroom so small you struggle to clean yourself. Really uncomfortable. The staff seemed friendly at first, but anything you ask them, they either can't or don't want to help with. We asked for a second towel and were denied, we asked about boat tours and were told they don't have any information, we asked about renting a car and were told there are none available. There is a pool, but we used it exactly once because the other guests were mostly male and would make us feel very uncomfortable. I think this hotel may appeal to guys trips for short stays. Finally the breakfast. Absolutely terrible! Canned fruit, stale cheap brand of corn flakes, terrible jam, bad quality white bread, boiled eggs that were cooked for way too long and possibly the day before, orange "juice" that definitely had 0% orange in it. We genuinely ate breakfast at a restaurant nearby for most of the week even though we had already paid for breakfast at the hotel because it was inedible.
All in all I strongly recommend NOT...
Read moreThe hotel is located just off the main road in Kalamaki. Its location makes it very convenient, as in 2 minutes walking distance you can get to basically everything you need, be it day to day shopping, souvenirs, bars and restaurants etc. There's also plenty of choice regarding transportation: there is a taxi stand nearby (on the main road), a bus stop and a plethora of car / bike / quad bike rentals. The owner and personnel are very keen to help, always greet you with a smile and make sure you have a very nice stay.
The room we stayed in is basic, but has everything we could need. Wardrobe, working AC, TV, fridge and kitchenette, a little but functional bathroom, a balcony with a table and chairs. A possible downside I found might be the length of the 3 beds: I'm 180cm and my feet stick out of the bed. The breakfast was provided by the hotel next door, must be some kind of partnership, I don't know, but there the staff was very friendly too, and the food was good.
There's a pool in the middle of these two hotels which guests can use from 8.00 to 20.00 with sunbeds and sunshades. All in all the stay was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend...
Read moreI am very satisfied with my stay in this accommodation! Staff was very friendly and Elena was extremely helpful! My room was cleaned every day and towels and bedsheets changed once every week. Bed was kingsize, there was a small kitchen counter with everything you need (fridge, small electric top stove where you can cook if you like, electric kettle, dishes, cups, glasses etc.) The studios are located 2min from Kalamakis main road where you can find shops and restaurants. During evenings the noise from the venues was not disturbing. There is a nice pool in the back yard where you can get something to eat and beverages. Beach is 7min walk and it was quiet and not overcrowded. For a low cost accommodation this place is totally worth it! If you expect for this price 4 stars hotel for those money, think again. If I am coming back to Zakinthos I am staying here again. P.S. I already left for the airport and realized I didn’t took pictures of the room, only video which uploads with bad...
