Anyone who hasn’t been before trust me you will love staying here ❤️ ❤️ Just back home after having another amazing 10 night stay at Elenis 🙌 This was our 4th stay and as usual we loved every single second of our holiday!! Eleni herself is such a lovely ladies always around with a smile on her face, Yiannis is amazing he’s so friendly to everyone and more like a friend to us such a lovely guy we look forward to seeing him every returning visit 👍 Irene aswell!! Property is lovely beautiful pool, sunbeds, garden, food area at bar with great food menu and cocktails on offer within. Rooms are spotless have everything you need best pillows my head has ever slept on, rooms cleaned everyday, we love that we can go for meal and come back and enjoy the rest of our night sitting at the bar with other guest and Yannis. We see the same returning faces each visit to em that says a lot 😀 have made great friends coming to stay at your accommodation 🙌 Already booked to come next June and September 2026

A nice hotel which is quite secluded and peaceful so you'll get enough rest here. Payment for air-conditioning is not necessary since the ventilation is set at 23 degrees, which is quite enough. A small swimming pool which offers the possibility to cool down. Close to restaurants so enough choices to go out and have dinner. Cleaning is mediocre, although you have cleaning service every day, they fail to give you a new towel every other day. The shower screen (walk-in shower) is too short, so the floor of the bathroom gets all wet. You use a towel to keep the water out.

I have stayed at elenis many times over the last 10 years. Always amazing friendly service from all of the staff. The food they serve is always freshly made and delicious. Room are always kept clean and the new suites are beautiful and so comfortable. Location just on the edge of town means it is lovely and peaceful with just a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Fully recommend a stay.

Eleni gardens is set in a beautiful green garden, the Eleni apartments are older, 12 of them all with a garden view. Castello suite apartments are the 10 newer addition all having the pool view. ||The pool is lovely but wasn't warm enough early June to get in despite the 28° temperatures. Lots of comfy sunloungers & a couple of four posters too.||Lots of comfy seating area around the bar.||So staying in the Eleni's garden apartment's - ||They are compact, the beds are very comfortable with lovely fluffy pillows. They have blackout curtains so they keep the early morning light out. Kitchen area is a fridge (with a small freezer compartment) and a kettle. There was a plug in hob top in a cupboard if you wanted to try & cook.||We made sandwiches a couple of times but no bread board or bread knife either but we managed with a plate. ||The bathroom is what really let's the apartment's down though, the shower tray is tiny & the water goes all over the floor. You get a little floor mat but that becomes saturated immediately & you need to ring it out to dry it outsude after each shower. Some of the tiles had blown room 3 if you were to slip you would get a nasty cut reaching out to steady yourself. No shelf to put your shower things on, so you have to put them in the sink & reach over. The shower is so tiny you have no room to move as you are stuck to the shower curtain & right up to the shower mixer tap at chest height. ||You get one towel each, changed every two days, no hand towel. For extra towels ( if you have lots of hair you need another for your head getting out of the shower) they are 2 euros each.||Location was at the end of Alykanas, you can cut through the grapevines to get to the beach. Walking along the main road you need to be extremely careful as there is no pavement. ||We really enjoyed going to the next village of Alykes, which was only about a 20 minute pleasant walk away, along the river. Getting back at night was a bit tricky as tge ground is uneven and it isn't well lit. One night we got a horse & cart back (10 euro) but generally we went out early & walked back around 9pm when the sun was going down. ||I was told the men with the horse & carts don't always treat their horses well, they are fined if their horses poop on the street or urinate- so they don't feed them or allow them to drink until they clock off -which I imagine is late..||They were doing maintenance work one day on a room at Eleni Gardens, lots of banging & drilling & at the same time someone had petrol hedge cutter on all the greenery. A bit annoying when trying to relax by the pool - ||It was the start of their season on our visit || - it was our uk half term, so end of May, early June -||so ideally it could of been done prior to their season starting.||We gave up & went to the beach for some peace. ||The beach is beautiful, we preferred Alykes as less seaweed. ||Sunbeds during our visit ranged from 10e, 12e and the most expensive being 15e, all for two with a parasol, but perhaps these prices go up as the season becomes busier.||The sea at Alykes is so clear, you can wade through it for a good far way out & yet still only be waist high, very good for families. The sand is lovely & soft too. I wish i could remember the spots we chose for beds, we used Porto Paradiso twice, 12€ for 2 beds, parasol, table & a wooden chair) plus their local red wine & food was delicious. We shared the fried Feta in pastry with honey & sesame seeds, a chicken club & an apple & sultanas pie with cinnamon crumble topping & toffee sauce & ice cream. ||There is a beach bar right at the end, on the corner, called Anemos & omg!! We had the best lunch there that we went back & had the exact same meal - just a tuna club sandwich but it was fried in butter & had melted cheese & salad & was just gorgeous. Also a Jack Daniels burger with caramelized onions, again, sublime. I noticed all the canopy had lights on so I bet it was really pretty on the evenings too.||Our favourite evening meal was at Paradosiako Alykes, on the river, so about 15 mins lovely walk, We had 6 starters, again very memorable, the Feta in shredded pastry with lavender honey & marmalade, zucchini fritters, the fried squid cooked in butter & the potatoes cooked in truffle mayo & bacon. ||Our favourite evenings, were watching the duo playing at Mojo, The Saturday 6 piece band at catacombs in Akykanas were brilliant, and we watched the abba & Elton john tributes at the mill.||We did an amazing 14 hour quad bike trip with Zantequadrides, basically exploring the whole island and the price includes a boat trip to the blue caves & the smugglers shipwreck. It also included a 3 course meal at a lively beach club to watch the sunset.||We enjoyed the walk to the lemon tree for another gorgeous meal ( the garluc prawns were huge) which tool.about 10- 15 mins from Eleni gardens. Futher up we went to Shoestrings beach for breakfast too, which again is a pretty stroll taking about 25 mins. On our last morning we had a massive English breakfast at nearby Danny's, very cheap, 8 euros for a huge plate, it definitely filled us us for our journey back to the airport - including fried bread, black pudding, mushrooms, 4 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, beans, tomatoe, 2 toast, jam & butter, a choice of coffee or tea & an orange juice! What a bargain. We cut up our leftovers and the stray cats...

We stayed at Eleni's from June 22-June 29 2025. We are a group of six (parents / adult children and their partner / friend). |We stayed in apartments 3, 5 and 10 in the older block. The rooms were immaculately clean and the beds were so comfortable. There is the opportunity to pay for a safe and /or air con (reasonably priced). Each room has a small balcony /outdoor seating area. There is a swimming pool which was spotlessly clean , plenty of sunbeds including some fabulous four posters on the lawn - very decadent! There are some newer rooms - the Castello Suites which are also lovely , situated on the other side of the grounds. ||What made this stay special were the people who run the apartments. Eleni herself is a lovely lady. Yiannis was so welcoming and great fun. He was a great source of local knowledge and it was a pleasure to spend time talking to him. Irini , his sister, makes amazing lunches and is so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. ||Lots of our fellow guests were revisiting Eleni's , having stayed there several times before. We have been to Alykanas four times and although it was our first time staying at Eleni's , it will not be our last. ||If you want a relaxing , calm holiday with lovely people then Eleni's is the place....

This our 4th time at Elani’s Garden and it gets better every time, so lovely to see Elani with her two sons around everyday. 😍|Yiannis and Irenee go above and beyond to see you have everything you need, they really are the heartbeat of this place and one of the reason why we keep going back and look forward to seeing them again next year. |We have already booked for June and September next year. 😊😊|There are lots of returning guests it’s so nice to see familiar faces each time we return and we have made some good friends as well. |Our junior room was clean, spacious, had a comfy bed and lovely big pillows for a good nights sleep. Bathroom is very modern with a lovely shower and a good powerful hairdryer attached to the wall. |The pool is big enough has plenty of comfy sun loungers so no need to get up at silly times to put towels down. It’s also very peaceful which is what you want on holiday. |The food and drinks at the pool bar are good as are the prices. |The shops and restaurant are about a 10-15 minute walk away and easy to get to although some parts of the roads can be a bit tricky (No pavement). |Thank you to everyone for a lovely...
