Hotel Emilia — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

First time at Hotel Emilia but will definitely stop again, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. Our trip started off with me having a week on my own due to work commitments of my partner, and I was a little worried about being on my own for a week, but the staff were super friendly, and looked after me, when my partner came out for the second week the staff still looked after both of us. Hotel Emilia is quite a new hotel, very clean, rooms are quite large and very clean, room cleaned daily and towels changed daily, and Linda the cleaner is just an absolute darling always smiling and happy to help in anyway she can. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choices, food in general was good. Bar prices in line with other hotels, pool area clean and enough beds for everyone. I stayed at this hotel in September for 7 nights; the hotel is in a nice location away from all the bars but close enough to get to them when you want to. The room was well worth its money with a double bed, shower and balcony (need to sort out hot showers for the morning though). The breakfast is very good as are the bar prices. There is a pool, a bit small but adequate with plenty of sunbeds around if you need them. ||On arrival I had a very friendly greeting which went on throughout the week. I was on a Thomas Cook flight and when the company went bust the staff there really helped with giving me information, allowing me to keep my room longer than check out time. ||Overall a good experience and I am sure the hotel going forward will be even better...

My friend and I stayed at the Emilia for 4 nights to attend a friends wedding at a nearby hotel. The hotel is excellent value for money. The rooms are rather basic, but spotlessly clean. It is family owned and the staff are all great - very friendly and helpful. ||The pool area is brand new and very nice. Complimentary breakfast was also quite good. Excellent location in the centre of tsivili with bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. ||Air con is an extra charge but we knew about this in advance so no problem.
