Joya Luxury Villas — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

We arrived back to the UK yesterday and feel compelled to review straight away. We had the most amazing time at Joya Villa. It was perfect for our 2 families, fitted all 7 of us in perfectly. The AC in all rooms including the loft space was appreciated as it was warm and all rooms had mosquito panels on the doors so was useful for during the day. Our host Nikolas was as amazing as all the other reviews. So approachable, kind, helpful! He booked and helped us with our taxis, recommendations and hiring a boat for the day, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. He was always on hand and just a lovely guy, it made staying at the villa even better. The villa is a 10 minute walk uphill to the lovely bakery and supermarket which has EVERYTHING in it and 10 minutes downhill (this is only a small incline) to the sea and a couple of lovely Tavernas. We ate at Andrea’s Fish Tavernas 3 times. It’s nice, stunning location but expensive! One early evening we ate in Tsilivi and that was just as good and a lot cheaper so worth getting a taxi. We had 3 very sad children and 4 sad adults leaving yesterday and wish we had booked for longer. If you come across this villa and are considering it, book it! We just completed a wonderful 10 day stay at Joya Luxury Villas. Zakynthos is a beautiful island full of hidden treasures, secret coves, rustic taverns, and majestic views. Luckily, we were able to discover the wonders of Zakynthos thanks to our amazing hosts Nikolas and Lisa. They generously shared their knowledge of the island with us and helped us to feel like a local. Without them, we would not have discovered all that Zakynthos has to offer.

Besides the personal help, they also provided a beautiful, clean and spacious villa perfect for a family with children and even grandparents. The private pool was a special treat and perfect for the days or evenings where we just felt like chilling at home. If we wanted to eat at home, no problem. Nikolas helped us to arrange a delicious traditional Greek dinner delivered to our door.

The location was also great! You are in a quiet area, but all of the "Must Sees" of the island are equidistant to the villa. There are few taverns and a modest beach within walking distance. Most days we drove to the sand beaches close to the house (10 minute drive).

Really, I cannot say enough great things about Joya Luxury Villas and the hosts, Nikolas and Lisa. All I can really say is that they will make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and special. The rest is for you...

We spent 13 days in this fabulous villa. We had such a great time there with the whole family (4 adults and 3 kids). The villa is large enough and offers almost everything what is needed. Villa is situated in a very quiet part of a village. Garden is very beautiful, with spectacular pool and garden shower. Although we went to beaches every day, we appreciated the pool very much, especially our kids. The villa and surrounded garden ensure absolute privacy. The whole place is very clean, cleaning lady is coming every day. The closest beach is quite close, but we rented a car and traveled to different beaches every day. you can also find a supermarket and nice restaurant in the village, but not in a walk distance. What makes this place unique is the landlord Nicholas who is very kind and always willing to fulfil every our wish. He was always ready to help us, to recommend and arrange a trip for us or to provide us with everything what we asked for.
