Very convenient location: hotel is a 2 minute walk from the dock if you arrive by boat and on a main road near the northern entrance to the city of you arrive by car. The main road is very noisy during the day; a bit quieter at night. Bring earplugs.
The most important things: rooms are clean bright and affordable, private bathrooms with hot water AND good water pressure (a big deal when you’re traveling in Guatemala!), good wifi, reliable electrical outlets, friendly staff, and plenty of great options for restaurants, bars, and cafés, as well as tiendas, nearby. Rooms 2 and 4 have balconies with beautiful views of the town and the Vulcán de Atitlán. Really nice to wake up to!
