If you prefer zero waste and saving natural resources, I have some good news- there was one towel (altogether, one in bath room, none on bed) in room for two. If you don't like wasting your time, I got some other good news for you- you will definitely not spend time in front of TV in room, as there was none. If you like jam from jar and instant coffee, another great news are coming: breakfast provides these as well as other things you certainly won't get too much of processed meat into your body when your day starts (there was some salami, no sausages). Do you like festival feeling during your vacation? Guess what.. your hand will get some sticker so you can go back to your room- after you left room keys at reception as this is mandatory. All of this could be ok, as it is youth hotel, it is not too far from Balaton lake, but experience we had was marked with unfair behaviour- lies. We came to this "hotel" with abmition to lower the price. It was like 8 PM (of the night we wanted to spend there) and we wanted better price. What we did was that we came to reception and said: booking provides us room at your hotel for 78 EUR. What price can you offer us if don't go via booking? (Reasons are obvious for both sides) Receptionist told us she needs to call her boss. After few minutes she told us: 75 EUR. We agreed. Then she used calculation and may us paid 31020 HUF what at the moment was 79 something in EUR. When we confronted her that she lies, she continued lying, on 2 different occasions- immediately and after we came back to hotel. In both cases she was telling us that local fee for spending a night in city was inclded twice in price addition, what she of course did not mention before making her calculation while also telling us that this is not considered in booking price, which is easy to prove is a lie, but if they do this also to people coming via booking, then check how much you pay and for what. I'm not blaming her of intentional lie, because other than that she was pretty nice. Also one towel in room for two could be caused by surprising visit in later hours, who knows what intentions were.. however it did happen like this. In addition if you are going there, in order to save some money, try to park on street next to hotel as their parking fee is also quite high for Hungary and there are few slots...
Read moreThis place is authentic retro ambience, from the 1980s. If you want this feeling then consider this as a feature. The place was generally clean. Personnel kind and mostly professional. Cleanliness is OK - they cleaned the room once but this was just emptying the bins, no vacuum cleaner or anything. This place is good for large groups who look for a relatively affordable stay. Meals were OK, a bit too expensive for what it is but it's OK given this is a holiday resort. Wifi is practically unusable. No mosquito net on...

Szeretnék panaszt tenni. Gyermekem ezen a napon jött haza az osztálykirándulásról, és borzalmasnak írta le a Manuela hotelt. Persze ez alapján nem ítélhetek, viszont rengeteg fotót mutatott. Mint a fotókon látni lehetett, a plafon penészfoltos(gyermekemnek penész allergiája van, borzasztóan köhögve jött haza), a szőnyegen hányásfoltok. A vakolat hullik. Bőven ráférne a helyre egy felújítás. A zsemle száraz, a tányérok zsírosak. A személyzet szinte nem is veszi emberszámba a gyerekeket. Az ágynak fura szaga volt, így a biztonság kedvéért a földön aludtak. És akkor még nem is beszéltünk a mosdókról. Borzalmasan ellentmond a higiénia szabályainak. Vizeletszag van, a wc nincs lehúzva, stb... Lift továbbra is üzemen kívül. Gyermekem, mivel chipseztek, elment porszívóért. A személyzet azonban nem akarta odaadni neki, sőt, megfenyegette. És most a másik probléma. Olvasgatva a megjegyzéseket, feltűnt, hogy Önök iszonyatosan bunkóan válaszolnak a kritikákra. Ha megkérhetném Önöket, legközelebb ne olyanokat írjanak, hogy "Sajnos nekünk is sírhatnékunk volt az Ön viselkedésétől...". Értem, hogy egy bizonyos személlyel problémájuk van, azonban ezt NEM úgy kell az értésére adni, hogy visszaválaszolgatnak, és tovább bunkóznak. Elnézést kérek a kellemetlen percekért, de úgy gondoltam, a kritikát talán Önök is elfogadják. Addig is én biztosan nem fogom Önökhöz küldeni gyermekemet, amíg a fenti problémákat nem...
