Dear All, On my way back from the beatch I noticed this place, it was busy and the food what they were serving was looking really good, I have decided to order. I have asked for the table on the side as I was with my Monster SUP. The waiter (his name was Daniel) has agreed to give me the table what was used as a smoking area, I did not mind. While ordering the food I realised there is some problem with a customer service. My dish had mashed potatoes which I am not a fan of, I have asked for change to wedges, the waiter has order for me French fries which I am also not a fan of, I asked again if I could have a wedges please. I had to insist as he was keep saying French fries. At the end he agreed to order for me what I wanted. I was a little bit confused with his approach. After I have ordered the food and paid for it he did not prepare the table for me. I had to do it myself, the table was dirty and waiter also did not care about it. Also I did not have a chair, I had to ask for it. I was waiting for my food around one hour. Bistro was busy so I did not mind. Finally the food has arrived and gues what? I got the French fries. The waiter said "enjoy your food" and left, I was not able even to say that I did not wanted the French fries. I have eaten all as I was really hungry. I have to say the food was delicious so big SHOUT OUT to the kitchen staff, they were working really hard in the kitchen and they did a great job, we'll done guys! I was observing them while waiting for my food. The gentleman who was managing the kitchen was doing it really good and he was really kind to me, I did not get his name unfortunately. Overall it's just 2 stars, 5 for food, 1 for service, 1 for atmosphere. I will not be back only because of the service, the waiter make me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable! Ahh almost forgot, waiter also did not give me change, he has tip himself. It was not much of the change but still absolutely outrageous! Also waiter did not check on me during the meal and after I have finished I have taken myslef my empty plate back to kitchen. Dear Zsolt Karacsony, Thank you for your thorough response. Please note as soon as you agreed to serve the food at the same time you agreed to provide the service, and I paid for it, hence I have evaluated it. When great things happen unexpectedly! Dock Bistro truly amazed us with its superb location right by the main beach, stylish modern décor, and a high-tech kitchen designed to deliver dishes quickly and to the highest standard. The food was modern, beautifully presented, and most importantly, fantastic value for money. The waiting staff were incredibly friendly and spoke fluent English, which made ordering stress-free when Hungarian isn’t your first language. And last but certainly not least, the hospitality of owner/part-owner Ervin was outstanding, no request was too big or too small. We’ll definitely be back, without a doubt!
