Very friendly reception staff. Beautiful facility. Unfortunately no longer 4. Good 3 yes. First of all, every day the maids cleaned the room differently. One time the bed was covered another time - in a row not. And yet another time the presence of the cleaning staff was not visible. Towels changed on request. The biggest problem is the breakfasts what I reported at the reception. Once water with lemon is there, once not. Once the choice of things to eat is greater other times less. I omit the fact that the way it was served and the quality of the products did not encourage people to eat. And the hit of this morning, 8:50 a.m. We order 3 times waffles, for 3 people. Unfortunately, as the waiter declares there is only one portion. He brings it over. Undercooked. If I were the owners, I would take an interest in this facility, because it is very nice, it's just a pity that nothing else. Read moreLoved our stay in Debrecen. Our hotel was very pleasant. English speaking travelers though please be aware English is not their polished language and trying to explain things is very difficult.
Unfortunately we where Charged breakfast for the whole time we stayed. We only had breakfast twice. When receiving the bill for check out again nothing in English' so we assumed it was hotel tax. An had a bill over £70 bare in mind we had already payed for the hotel before arriving in the country.
My future sister in law is Hungarian an once we had meet them later that morning I questioned it with her. She explained an said I would call the hotel an get a refund. They said they would have 2 call head office and then call her back. 20 mins later' we get a phone call. Sorry we can't refund you head office said we already checked out. Im sorry but in any country in the world I class that as theft! Very disappointed in what was a lovely holiday an well needed but let down by our hotel. Charged for produce that we didn't have. Do yourselves a favour bring a translater...

The rooms were acceptable, but it was clear they could use some renovation – especially the bathroom, which was quite outdated. Cleanliness was fine, but nothing remarkable. The staff was friendly and helpful, which definitely made the stay more pleasant.
The hotel’s location is not bad, but it’s farther from the city center than advertised. It’s not a 10-minute walk as claimed, but closer to 20 minutes. Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was decent, nothing special. However, breakfast was disappointing – very limited selection and below-average quality.
