Silatti Panzió — Hotel in Keszthelyi járás

The place reflects the price range it is positioned in. It is cheap.

If you need a place to sleep for a night and don't plan to spend any more time there it might be a perfect, but if you plan to have a relaxing stay at the apartment, then you better pick another one.

We were there, while doing the triathlon weekend. Our room had a small refrigerator, a small flat panel TV, and furnishing from the 80's, but we were mostly running or cycling around in Keszthely, or were at the Fest, and fell asleep almost as soon as we entered the room, so it really didn't bother us.

P.s.: There is a pool belonging to the Apartment, but don't expect to use it, since, while there is good weather, you will be at or in the lake, and since the house rule states, that you can't use the pool after 9 pm, you can forget about chilling and drinking there at...

The room and breakfast were nice enough, but not to as high a standard as other similarly-priced hotels and BnBs in Hungary. I guess the location has something to do with this. The location is good, by the way - easy walking distance to the lake shore with markets, etc, and also the town with some shops. Parking is good, via a fairly narrow laneway to the back of the building. The laneway is gated and guests are supplied with a key upon check-in. Don't. Just don't. Paper-thin walls, dirty washbasin and shower, pool overgrown with algae. You don't deserve it. Location is the only positive thing as it is close to the city centre but, frankly, there are many others around. We booked it the last minute because of travel trouble but didn't sleep a wink- AC barely functioning and neighbours who got up at 7 (fine by me) and started cooking breakfast and talking in the kitchenette (also fine if the walls...
