Florand Rooms&Wine Sopron — Hotel in Soproni járás

Even though it is not situated in the best part of the city, I can definitely say that I really enjoyed my stay here! First of all, the owners and the staff are really so kind and it's something quite unusual in Hungary! I had already been in Hungary previous times before indeed and I always found rude people, but I cannot definitely say the same here! Then, the structure itself is really beautiful! You can really feel a beautiful atmosphere in every common area. Breakfast was okay, there are both savory and sweet options and there is also a very kind lady who can provide you some fresh things too! Our room was truly very good. Anyway, I strongly believe that rooms need AC, 'coz it's really hot as hell during summer, but the rest was alright! They can provide you also a parking space situated 250m from the structure which costs 4,5€/d. Overall, therefore, I can only recommend this structure both if your aim is to visit the city, which is truly a little gem, but also to have cheaper accommodation if your interest is to go to Vienna or Bratislava! However, remember that, being a Bed and Breakfast, the reception is not open 24 hours so if you arrive after a certain time you will have to check in automatically

Sopron is beautiful and this guesthouse in a very old building with a cellar sits close to its historical center. The interior courtyard is amazing as well. The room was large, clean, decorated with tasyeyand we also had a free upgrade actually. The staff was responsive and helpful. We could park the car in a free payment place near the guesthouse, even if we were told about this the second day at breakfast and not initially. Breakfast was one of the best we had in 8 nights stay at similar price in Hungary. Parking can be difficult in such city, due to availability, price and payment methods especially (I tried 4 apps, each with problems on phone no or card) . This jewel of a boutique hotel is the place to stay! A quaint beautiful, extremely clean and oh so accommodating hotel truly meets anyone's expectations. The owner is gracious and provides the most pleasant ambiance to enjoy. The hotel offers a wonderful area to chill in the company of wide selection of local wines after an eventful day in the fascinating city (Sopron). Sadly, the museums were closed to to economic hardship. The hotel itsel is in an old building with tons of upgrades and most conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the center of the city.
