Família Panzió — Hotel in Szegedi járás

It would be a good place to stay, cheap, friendly staff, parking inside, neat rooms but they charge extra for air conditioning. The air conditioning unit has a foul smell and is an old on/off unit which you cannot adjust so it is either off and you endure the heat or it is on and you endure the cold. How can you charge extra for a foul smelling old AC unit? Staff says the AC unit is OK. Of course, it only smells when the compressor is off and the infected mud inside evaporates. I am wondering if they charge extra for heat during winter and if you then get what you pay for. In the mean time I bought an AC cleaning spray and managed to clean the AC unit and it does not smell anymore. I don't know if they will discount the job I've done but it was worth it, now I can breathe better.

Edit: no, they still won't admit the AC unit was filthy and they still charged for that. I would downgrade my rating but my father was good impressed by the nice neighborhood and nice breakfast service. I still hope they will admit they have a problem with customer relationship. 4* adtam, Pozitív szép szoba, 2 embernek 3 éjszakára megfelelő tisztasagnak látszott, nem volt peneszes semmi a furdobe se voltak furcsa foltok Panzió olyan mintha uj lenne, érdekes, kellemes folyosói berendezessel. saját belső parkoló, nem feláras jó légkondi a szobába, igaz feláras 800 Ft / éjszaka tv, gyors net kis mini hűtő, de sok víz ez az elfér benne, és jól hűt, 2 ember 3 éjszaka megfelelő méretű a tulajok rendesek, kedvesek nem bunkók, vagy flegmák hajszárító, kézmosó szappanok vannak, 2 törülköző, 1 zuhany kilépő;) belváros közel van 10 -15 perc séta, Hősök kapuja vagy a Széchenyi tér tavolabbik felet nézzük, nekünk gyalogos táv szép kartyaval lehetett fizetni a szállásért ifa 800 Ft / fo / éjszaka, szép kártya nem fizethető

Muy buena relación calidad/precio y excelentes atenciones del staff. Situado a un paseo del centro de la ciudad (5-10 min andando) y bien comunicado.

Llegamos a Szeged sin reserva: vimos varias opciones en las cercanías antes de decantamos claramente por Familia Panzio. Propiedad situada en una calle principal orientada en torno a un patio privado. Dispone de aparcamiento en el patio.

Las habitaciones están en muy buen estado y limpias. Vimos las habitaciones dobles y cuádruples. El baño era bastante nuevo.

El personal es muy amable y habla perfecto inglés (algo que no encontramos en otros hostales de la zona en los que tuvimos que comunicarnos casi por señas). Las recomendaciones que nos hicieron para visitar/cenar fueron un acierto.

No desayunamos (es opcional); no obstante el salón era una bodega en semisótano y tenía buena pinta.

Very good price / quality ratio and excellent hospitality from staff. Close to the city center (5-10 min walk) and well connected.

We arrived to Szeged without reservation: we saw several nearby options before opting clearly for Familia Panzio. Property located on a main street oriented around a private courtyard. Parking is available in the courtyard.

Rooms are in a very good condition and clean. We saw double and quadruple rooms. The bathroom was quite new.

The staff are very friendly and speak perfect English (something not found in other hostels in that area in which we had got to communicate with signs). The recommendations to visit / have dinner were a success.
