I have booked 6 AM Check-in in REDBUS app, and went to the hotel at 8. I told about the online booking. After hearing the word of online booking, That receptionist was very rude. He told me that the room will be ready by 12 only and asked me to come at 12 noon. I told him about the 6AM Check-in, and for that he answered in a very rude manner "Am I the one who told you to give the room at 6, Go and ask the one (red bus) who agreed to it. Then I told him about the bill paid already, for that he told that they never get money in advance. And asked me to pay again. Such a tragic and stupid experience. Then after talking and explaining everything to him, another one who sat near him told the same, he agreed to allot a room. For that he asked me to go with the room boy (aged 50) to first floor (another reception is there) using steps. I enquired about lift with the room boy bcz my mother is 67 years old. He told that there was no lift and you should walk. But lift was present there which I came to know from the people whom are staying. After getting the key from the second reception, no one came with us to show the room. The lift person helped to find the room. The room is not neat and the toilet is very dirty. Sounds arose from the nearby rooms even during midnight at 2 since 10 to 15 persons are staying in a single room. While handing over the key in the reception during checkout, everyone starting from room boy to sweeper asked me TIPS. They never appeared before that until that time.
This tourist home is meant for the persons who come in bulk numbers of 50. They are providing a single room for all of them. They provide kitchen facilities for them. So it's meant for that purpose. Not for 2 people to...
Read moreThis hotel has two main sections overall. One is the dormitory hotel side and the other side has deluxe rooms. The deluxe rooms are well cleaned and maintained and the view of the ocean from balcony is too heart touching. This is a really big hotel and therefore the installation of direction boards everywhere does ease up the task of finding places even within the hotel. Parking space is well spacious enough to accommodate lots of buses, and it also provides organized separate multiple kitchen and dining spaces for groups to cook and have their food. The tourist destinations like the Kankyakumari Beach and market, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Gandhi Mandappam, Boat House and Vivekananda Smarak are hardly 400 metres away. Even the railway station is hardly a kilometre away and travel options are readily available since this hotel is located on the road. Overall, this hotel does provides budgeted quality accomodations for various...

Pros:
Excellent Location: The hotel’s prime location is a major advantage. Guests can easily access nearby attractions. Affordability: The AC rooms are reasonably priced, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious travelers.
Cons:
Aging Rooms: Unfortunately, the rooms show signs of wear and tear due to their age. Outdated furnishings and decor might disappoint some guests. Hygiene Issues: The bathroom emits an unpleasant smell, which can be bothersome. Additionally, mosquitoes are a nuisance. Family Travel Consideration: Given the room conditions, I regret choosing this hotel for family travel. Overall Impression: While Triveni Tourist Home’s affordability and location are positives, the aging rooms and hygiene issues detract from the experience. Families may want to explore...
