During our trip to Kanyakumari, we had breakfast at Hotel Triveni, and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a simple and clean atmosphere, with a cozy, family-friendly vibe. We were looking for a place to have a traditional South Indian breakfast, and Hotel Triveni did not disappoint.
The service was prompt, and the staff was courteous and attentive. We enjoyed a hearty meal, with the food being fresh and tasty. The flavors were well-balanced, and the breakfast items we tried were satisfying, with everything from the chutneys to the sambar complementing the dishes perfectly.
While the food was good, the atmosphere was relaxed, making it an ideal spot to start the day. However, there wasn't anything particularly exceptional about the food compared to other places in the area. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and it was a good place to grab a meal before continuing with our sightseeing.
If you’re in Kanyakumari and looking for a casual place to have breakfast, Hotel Triveni is definitely worth considering. It offers good food in a comfortable setting, though nothing that stands out...
Read moreThis is a pure vegetarian hotel. I was here for a late lunch and ordered the south Indian thali. The taste was average, nothing to complain. All the basic things that matter - rice, sambar & rassam - tasted good, so 3* there. Buttermilk and curd were a little more sour to my liking but that is expected for the hot weather. Rice was not hot, but again that was probably because I walked in for a late lunch. The elderly waiter that served me was very attentive and repeatedly checked if I needed anything more, very kind of him. One extra * for the waiter. There are many hotels on both sides of this road but are mixed (serve both veg & non-veg) and I would definitely recommend this if you are a...
Read moreIt is an ok restaurant (visited here cause it was recommended by my stay i.e., Hotel Bharani). It is humble advice that do not visit the Hotel Triveni at closing hours. You will get cold/stale food, the papad was soft when served so we requested for a new one so staff refried and served the same. Dahi bhindi was about to soil so the staff told get anything in the exchange (the receptionist was claiming it had more imli/tamarind). We had south ind thali and it was kind of ok. Would suggest explore other restaurants in Kanyakumari. The other thalis like bombay thali to jain thali were one and the same and had one chapati in it. They do brand themselves as multi cuisine hotel but...
